Sirius and Remus sat together in Transfiguration class holding hands under the table. Quietly, James threw a note onto their table. It read: "Dear Moony and Padfoot, it has come to my attention that you two are being extremely lovey dovey and are being even more sappy than Lily and I have ever been. Sincerely, Prongs." Remus laughed and Sirius looked back at James with a look of pure disgust. Remus wrote something down on the same paper and gave it to Sirius. "Padfoot, I love you. I want to snog you senseless." Sirius almost laughed out loud at this comment, and began to scribble madly on the paper. "Oh but Moony, if you do that, then where will you be without me?" Sirius tossed it across the table, back to Remus. He read the note, and then wrote another one back to Sirius. "Well Padfoot, I know that you want me to snog you senseless because you have asked me multiple times to do so." Remus slid the note across the table once more. Sirius picked it up, read it, and wrote down "Oh Moony, how I love you. To be honest, I would absolutely love it if you would snog me senseless, my dear."
The moment that Sirius slid the note across the table, McGonagall turned around and saw it happen. Remus grabbed it off of the table, but McGonagall simply said
"Accio note." And it flew to her hand. "Hmmm... Very interesting. It seems that Moony, who must be Mr. Lupin, wants to snog Padfoot, who must be Mr. Black, and Mr. Black would love for this to happen. Mr. Lupin agrees, and it seems they have yet to set a time for this encounter." She skimmed over the note and offered this brief summary of the conversation that had taken place on the piece of parchment. Remus turned bright red, and Sirius laughed nervously.
"Um... Uh... We were just joking around Professor." Sirius tried to explain.
"Oh, please Mr. Black. I know that you two are dating, and I'm perfectly fine with it, but please refrain from passing notes in class, yes, you too Mr. Potter." Sirius and Remus were both shocked by this statement, but James just smirked while Peter giggled nervously.
I kind of like this chapter, and I think that McGonagall being okay with them dating is pretty cool, considering how old she it. Don't forget to give more suggestions on one shot ideas! Thanks for reading!
