Sirius adjusted his tie as James looked on, wearing a classic black and white tux. James had insisted on the tuxedo, because he hasn't worn one at his own wedding, and Lily had laughed at him the whole way to Remus and Sirius's wedding. Sirius was shaking, and James put a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
"You'll be fine, mate. Moony loves you, and you love Moony, and you'll live happily ever after like me and Lils." James pulled Sirius into a hug, and gave him a quick pep talk. The two men walked to a place that was almost like backstage for the altar at which Remus and Sirius would get married, and they knew that Lily was waiting with Remus across the altar in the other side of the backstage. The music began to play, and the two men walked out at the same time. Remus looked perfect to Sirius, and Sirius looked perfect to Remus. They met at the altar and immediately grabbed each other's hands. The priest began the ceremony, and the two said their vows. At last, the priest said "I now pronounce you husband and husband. You may kiss." Sirius embraced Remus, and they kissed each other passionately. The entire church went up in cheers, and Lily was crying into James's shoulder.
"Oh, James! They're married! Our boys are married!" Lily cried tears of joy as Remus and Sirius kissed in front of the entire room.
"We're married, Remmy! I love you so much!" Sirius was speaking only to Remus, and his voice was excited.
"I know, Siri! We did it! I love you too!" Remus was smiling as he and Sirius left the church to head for the reception. So! I like this one. Who else likes this one? I always thought of the wizarding community being more accepting of LGBT people. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this little story, and I'll probably do a second part for the reception. Thanks for reading!
