Toni woke up to the insistent singing of birds coming from outside the window. It usually didn't bother her that much. Yes, usually, because the walls of the trailer that she and her uncle could afford were too thin and could not withstand a real small army of beautiful singers. Apparently today will be a sunny day, since the sound was so loud that it forced Toni to open his eyes. She was insanely tired last night, and it wouldn't be a sin to sleep for a couple more hours so as not to go to school squeezed out like a lemon, but she couldn't.
She opened her eyes slightly, struggling with the bright light filling her tiny abode. A smile immediately lit up her face when she noticed the girl who was almost completely lying on top. Her red curls spread over Tony's chest, covering her nakedness from prying eyes. Her arm was wrapped around a slender olive-colored waist, with which the red color of her nails contrasted perfectly.
Topaz couldn't move, so as not to wake the girl, sweetly nuzzling her collarbone and scorching her skin with hot breath. Toni's whole body was numb, which made her madly want to stretch, stretch, but as soon as she lifted the girl's hand by a millimeter with her hand, she clung to her with a death grip, starting to moan something through a dream.
The pink-haired woman grinned, pressing a gentle kiss to the back of the redhead's head.
They definitely had some more time since the alarms didn't go off, but Toni really wanted to get up and go to the toilet. At some point, she even stopped caring that the girl would wake up, because if Toni returned, she would embrace her again and disconnect. They spent an insanely intense weekend together, practically not getting out of this bed. The girls were lucky that Penelope Blossom did not decide to specify which friend Cheryl was going to spend the night for two days, and Uncle Jake so conveniently went on a small business trip. By the way, he could have returned even this morning, which was a little annoying for Toni. Of course, he was not a homophobe who terrorizes his own niece for her preferences, but he was not happy with the number of Antoinette's partners who visited their house. Don't judge her harshly… She had not needed a long-term relationship for as long as she could remember, but at her seventeen years old, with raging hormones, she could not deprive herself of sex.
- Baby? I need to go to the bathroom.  Toni made another attempt to escape, practically tearing Cheryl away from herself with a struggle.
- Will you come back? Blossom whimpered, returning to the pillow that Toni had given her from her very first visit to the south side. The redhead buried her nose in the snow-white fabric of the pillowcase. She didn't even open her eyes.
- No, I'm going to leave my own house and never come back. Is that okay with you?
Toni stifled a fit of laughter, leaning over to leave a kiss on the girl's forehead. She wouldn't have noticed if a meteorite had fallen on this trailer right now. Apparently Toni needs to slow down in the sexual training of the maple princess, otherwise she won't even be able to go to school from lack of sleep.
Topaz reluctantly got out of bed, completely exposing her body. But she moaned pleasantly when she was able to stretch freely, hearing her joints crunch from a night with Cheryl sleeping on top of her. Toni looked around the room, slightly ruffling her hair, which was not in the best shape. There were various items of clothing lying around, which he and Cheryl had scattered, it seems, yesterday morning. The pink-haired woman approached the dresser, stepping over a red bra that clearly did not belong to her. She bit her lip, smiling contentedly at the memories of the past weekend as she searched for clean underwear.
He and Cheryl had known each other for only a few weeks, and their acquaintance could not be called cordial. But it quickly turned into a raging passion and a desire to open up to each other. Toni couldn't remember a person she could talk to so calmly and frankly in the last six years. But Cheryl did magical things, becoming not just a listener, but also a strong support, a friendly shoulder, not that Toni wanted to cry into it. Topaz rarely showed her emotions, and every time she was alone with this treasure, she was afraid of what was waking up inside her subconscious, but she rigidly suppressed any manifestations of feelings, content only with friendship and wonderful sex.
The girl put on her favorite black lace panties, deciding not to bother with a bra and pulling on an ordinary flannel shirt, of which she had too many. She went out into the hallway to immediately get into the bathroom. It was quiet in the trailer, even the birds calmed down, which made Toni silently swear. Why did they stop as soon as I got up? Couldn't you have let me sleep for a couple more hours? Toni wanted to brush her teeth and wash at the same time, but first decided to check the time. If it was still too early, and she washed up, then she would never fall asleep. But she liked the option of brushing her teeth more and more by the minute.
She walked across the linoleum to the refrigerator, which always had a small alarm clock on it. Her body was covered with goosebumps when her bare feet touched the cold surface of the floor, but at the same time, it slightly refreshed her. This night was too hot, which is why he and Cheryl didn't even bother to get a blanket, pulling a thin sheet over their naked bodies.
It wasn't past six in the morning, so they had more than an hour before a full-fledged rise. Toni couldn't hold back the frenzied desire to quench her thirst, so she took a bottle of water out of the refrigerator, greedily sipping a few sips.
Returning to the room, Topaz still jumped into the bath a second time to brush her teeth. Cheryl was insanely demanding to the point of kissing, and to some extent Toni was already attached to it.
What do you care if she even likes to kiss you? You just want to kiss her. Don't think about her welfare. And since when have we been so eager to break our rule not to kiss the person we sleep with?
Toni waved her thoughts away, furiously brushing the surface of her teeth and spitting paste into the sink to rinse her mouth. Yes, she had that rule, but Cheryl wasn't just a person for the night. She was her friend who needed help identifying her sexuality. They didn't have any kind of relationship, not that serious, none at all. They were just helping each other. And Toni refuses to admit that over the past five weeks, she has never once thought about other people constantly surrounding her.
The girl quietly returned to the room, ignoring the rapid beating of her heart, when she noticed a scattering of crimson hickeys on her pale back. Cheryl hugged Toni's pillow, hugging it close to her chest, turning her back to the door.
Toni walked over to the bed, kneeling on the soft surface. Cheryl was snuffling loudly because she buried her nose in the pillow, which was just a gorgeous sight. Toni stretched, throwing her arm over the girl and leaning her palm on the bed to lean over the redhead. She left a soft kiss just above the shoulder blade, where one of the hickeys had already begun to lose its color. She never wanted to hurt Cheryl, but the way this girl screamed in her arms, moaned from every hickey she made. It was worth it…
- Toni?
- I'm here. Toni's lips followed his bare shoulder, covering every mole, every little scar with kisses from the time in childhood when Cheryl did not have time to slow down in time and scratched her hand on a tree while learning to ride a bike. Topaz adored all these numerous stories that they shared over cocktails at the Pops. They didn't meet anywhere else, there were only two safe places where they could hide from all these people who adhere to the war between Northside and Southside: Pops and Toni's trailer.
- Go to bed. Cheryl muttered sleepily, pushing the pillow away and fumbling with her palm on the sheet, trying to find Tony's hand. And she didn't even need to open her eyes!
- So sly. Toni leaned forward a little until her lips touched her pale cheek, slightly tinged with pink blush. It was always hot in this room on spring mornings because the sun warmed the air. Topaz left a wet kiss on her cheek, on her cheekbone, on her collarbone, forcing Cheryl to twitch.
"Stop waking me up, Toni. Just get into the damn bed. - Topaz saw Cheryl struggling to keep her eyelids from opening, but the truth is that she no longer wanted to sleep and was not in the mood to spend an hour alone.
- But I don't want to sleep. Toni straightened up, deciding that while Cheryl was acting up, she could pack her clothes. They'll have to clean up anyway, because Uncle Toni sometimes comes to her to water the plants that were lined with a small windowsill. The girl herself did not often take care of them.
Toni picked up her underwear, jeans and a mesh top, sending them to the laundry basket. She carefully placed Cheryl's clothes on top of the dresser. In her trailer there were several things Cheryl forgot every now and then after such spontaneous sleepovers, which could easily happen in the middle of the week. Also in the corner was a Gucci duffel bag, in which Cheryl brought her things with her.
But it didn't take Toni long, and she returned to the bed again, where Cheryl passed out again, cute wrinkling her nose and sticking out her lower lip.
Topaz took a deep breath, taking her pillow and lying down on the free part of the bed. Blossom, apparently, felt the movements next to her and turned around, throwing her arm over her friend's waist again. The pink-haired woman could watch for hours how Cheryl's eyebrows frown, how small wrinkles appear on her forehead, how she slightly opens her mouth when she exhales, apparently due to the intense content of sleep. Toni ran her fingers through the red curls, gently removing them from the girl's face.
- Good morning.
- Good morning.
Blossom yawned, dropping her head back onto Toni's chest. She found the girl's free hand and intertwined her fingers.
- My uncle is going to come soon, I think. He warned me that he would be back before I left for school, because he forgot his keys when he left.
Topaz felt Cheryl stiffen in her arms. No one knew that Cheryl was spending the nights in this cramped trailer with one of the members of the Southside Serpents.
She just couldn't let her mother or anyone at school find out about it. But on the other hand, she secretly dreamed of walking through the corridors of Riverdale High by Toni's hand and showing her mother that she wasn't afraid to flaunt her feelings.
"Hey, he's a normal person, Cher. He'll like you.
Blossom liked how Toni could calm her down with a simple phrase, and even better if she backed up her words with a soft kiss in her hair, as she was doing now. It made Cheryl relax and forget about the problems while she was with Toni. She hated how fast she was falling because of this girl. Toni told her a lot about herself, not missing the moment that she never starts a relationship, and Cheryl understood that she would not be an exception. In the end, she herself agreed to this friendship with privileges, and she was extremely comfortable. She may never call Toni her girlfriend, but she can always rely on her.
Toni takes care of her like no one else has ever taken care of her except Jason. But her brother wasn't around, he traded his life with his family for being an outcast with his girlfriend. Cheryl tried to blame him at first, but soon put herself in his place. The Blossom twins were terribly obsessed with love, falling in love despite the consequences, so she would have done exactly the same. Moreover, Jason was still there for her, through calls, SMS, facetime. She enjoyed chatting with his future wife, watching her stomach grow slowly but surely. She's going to be an aunt soon, after all.
- What are you thinking about? Cheryl realized she hadn't answered Toni.
- "I'm not afraid of him, T.T." It's just always exciting to open up to someone, especially since I don't have such experience with adults. Only Jason and you know about me.
- He usually doesn't interfere, and believe me, he definitely won't care about running and telling Penelope everything. He, like everyone on this side, dislikes her very much.
- Like my whole family. Toni took a deep breath, hearing the note of disappointment in the redhead's voice. She often tried to convince Cheryl that she was not like her parents, that she was just unlucky to be born into a family like Tony was unlucky to lose her parents at the age of six. But they are both above it, they will cope, because they will help each other, no matter what.
- Cher, we've been through this…
Toni doesn't have time to finish, because the iron door of the trailer slams, forcing Cheryl to squeeze harder into her arms. Topaz remembers that she completely forgot to lock the door when she returned from the Pops with their breakfast yesterday morning. It should be great for her, because Uncle Jake was always worried, even knowing that no one would enter the Snake's house.
- An ant? Get your ass out of bed and get ready to listen to me wailing about your safety.
Toni burst out laughing, hearing the playful notes in the voice of an adult man. He had been in a good mood since the morning, so everything went well with the task, and it would not be difficult for her to introduce him to Cheryl. She had been planning to do this for a long time, but they were so passionate about each other that they did not have time to find the man at home.
"It's fate, Cheryl.
Blossom whimpered in frustration.
- Maybe there is a chance that I will leave unnoticed?
- "I'm taking you to school, Cher. How are you going to leave here?
- Toni? Maybe you and the lady will go out and have breakfast with the old wolf?
Topaz heard the refrigerator rattle, and then the frying pan sizzle. The girl adored when Jake cooked breakfast, so her stomach involuntarily rumbled.
- Sure, Jake. Just give us some time to take a shower.
- Separately, ant. Did you hear me?
- Yes.
Cheryl laughed into Toni's shirt when she heard the comments.
- "Did he really say that?"
- "That we can't have sex in our little shower stall?" Yes, I think that's what he meant.
Toni started to get up, forcing Cheryl to sit down too. She held the sheet up to cover her breasts, running her other hand through her hair to get it out of her face.
- God, you're so beautiful. Toni bent down to give the girl a quick kiss. – I'll take a shower and be with my uncle in the kitchen. Take whatever you need and join in, okay?
- Of course.
God, Toni loved this morning: hot breakfast, fragrant coffee, Uncle Jake in a good mood. He wasn't often in a bad mood, and it didn't affect her in any way, but she loved to chat with him about gang affairs, which was impossible when he was in a bad mood. The girl quickly took a shower, returning to the room and noticing that Cheryl made the bed and borrowed her underwear and shirt, using yesterday's skirt again.
She didn't let go until she placed a more passionate kiss on her lips, allowing her to cool off in the shower (the water in the trailer clearly couldn't even be called warm, let alone hot). Toni put on classic black jeans with slits at the knees and a blue top, finding a matching flannel and tightening it at the waist. Uncle was just arranging dishes for three people on a small table when she came into the kitchen.
- Did you have a good weekend, ant?
- Great. - Toni went straight to the old coffee maker, which barely served them to make coffee. All the ingredients were cooked, but Uncle didn't touch them, because Tony, like a true barista, always prepared the drinks herself. She just adored this family routine, realizing that she was not averse to dedicating her best friend to it at all. Blossom would definitely have liked Jake. She had a fiery temper that would have been perfect if she had decided to join a gang, but she was unspeakably kind and sympathetic, which only added to the advantages.
- Do you even remember her name? - Toni heard a note of displeasure in her uncle's voice. She deliberately turned to him, noticing that he had crossed his arms over his chest.
- "She's not my bedtime girlfriend, Jake. I have passed this stage.
- Oh, ant. - The man's voice became so hopeful that Toni, for a second, didn't want to disappoint him, but they weren't lying to each other. Topaz was well aware that Jacob did not approve of her fleeting affairs, he wanted happiness for his niece, so deprived of the care of her parents. He was afraid that Tony would just leave everything as it is and never find his love. Toni turned back to the coffee maker, because it beeped softly, signaling the readiness of the drink. At the other end of the trailer, the door to her room slammed, which means Cheryl will come in here in about ten minutes, when she has completely applied her makeup.
– She is my friend with whom I have some special relationship. But we are not meeting and we are not going to. - Toni tried not to sound disappointed.
– She's a very nice person, Jake. So don't be too rude to her, okay? - Toni prepared three cups of coffee, without adding sugar, but pouring a little cream into one glass, because Cheryl liked to drink that way. Jacob didn't say anything, for which Toni was grateful to him. They both sat down at the table when Toni decided to change the subject while they were waiting for Shari, because it was disrespectful to start breakfast without her.
- "Do you want to tell me how your mission went?" - The man took a deep breath, not daring to start a discussion with his niece that she was ruining her life. He just nodded, starting his story.
