📍Avengers Compound
Valencia Onyx (1st person POV)
10:00pm

"And you're telling me you guys come back from this HAPPY??" Steve groans.

"I kid you not, I think I pulled 80 muscles in that session alone." Bucky moans as the boys stumble out of their car.

"You're all a bunch of babies." Nat chirps, hopping out of our car completely fine.

We all get into the compound and the boys go up to their rooms. Nat says goodbye and disappears into her room. I go up to mine and shower.

While the warm water hits my body, I can't stop thinking about Tony and I. I try to get my mind off of it, but I can't keep trying to convince myself that it isn't taking over my thoughts. His smile, his voice, his touch... his body-

I need to get out.

I hop out of the shower and throw on a big T-shirt and sweatpants. I attempt to sleep in my bed, but it's useless. I'm twisting and turning for hours and it's honestly just frustrating me. I throw the covers off of me and make my way out of my room.

I walk out and it's obvious everyone is asleep, the compound is never this quiet. I go downstairs and fill up a glass of water. I disable our alarms and walk right out of the facility, I can't feel trapped here anymore. I just need to clear my head.

I go out of the front door, glass in hand, and start walking. I'll just scale the perimeter. On my walk, my constant thoughts of our relationship reveals to me that there is absolutely no way Tony and I can ever truly be together. We're co-workers, friends, public figures, and he has a wife for god's sake! So why can't I just let this go?

I snap out of my train of thought when I realize I've circled the entirety of the Avengers Compound 2 times. I'm coming up on my 3rd when something blunt hits my head, and it all goes black.

When I wake up, I feel the shaking and hear the metal, I'm in a van.

‎" آقا، ما دختر را گرفتیم " I hear a mans voice say.

‎" خوب، او را به مقر بیاورید " I hear another voice come through a radio.

Isn't it just a great day to know so many languages except Persian?

The cloth over my mouth is wet, they must've put chloroform on it. The blindfold on my eyes is sheer and thin, I could easily see through it, if there was anything to see. It was pitch black. I use the training that all avengers get for a situation like this. Though tied behind my back, I try my best to use my hands to feel my surroundings. The floor is freezing and the space is empty. Whoever's driving is taking the sharpest turns, I assume to disorient me, but it's honestly just throwing me around and annoying me.

I try to look through my blindfold into the front seat, but that's when the van comes to a stop. I hear two men speaking to each other and then get out of the van and close the door. I'm an avenger, I shouldn't feel this scared, waiting in silence for what's going to happen next.

I hear the back doors of this van open and see blinding lights through my blindfold.

"She's awake." I hear a deep voice groan.

So now they wanna speak English.

A leather gloved hand grabs my arm and yanks me out.
