Chapter 8

*Riley's POV*

I skidded down the stairs and ran to catch up with my mom and the others. We walked past Tower of Pizza, a pizza store which sells magnificent pizzas and the store name has a direct reference to the leaning tower of Pisa.

"Tower of Pizza?", Michelle questioned, then laughed. "I would like to go there."

As Michelle's best friend, I would of took her there but unfortunately there aren't any close to our side of the city.

"Don't worry, I'll take you there one day," Kyle added. "as a date.. if you're willing to.." Michelle laughed.

*Parker's POV*

"You are now able to use your devices. Thank you for choosing L.A. Wings Airline."

Thank god. I wanted to check my phone to see if either Amy, Brook, Brady or William texted me.

Amy🐱 to ⚡️⚡️⚡️: I don't think so I just texted him and he didn't respond so.. -36 mins ago

Willy to ⚡️⚡️⚡️: Wait can he text right now? -36 mins ago

Brady to ⚡️⚡️⚡️: Lil' young parky now on the plane haha I can't stand sitting still -35 mins ago

Amy🐱: Hey having fun on the plane? -35 mins ago

Stupid iPhone 5, low battery, but my dad promised me to buy me an iPhone 6 or maybe the 6 plus. The three lightning bolts is our group chat name. I don't remember who named it that, but none of us bothered to change it.

I wanted to reply but I didn't know if I could use my data right now, and if I am allowed to. Of course paying for the airplane wifi would be just wasting money.

I put my phone back into my sweater pocket. I unzipped my backpack which was on the floor, reaching for my tablet. I might as well play some non-wifi games since I can't do anything. I haven't used my tablet in a while. On the case there was a sticker showcasing a dinosaur holding a flower. I remember Riley had given me this in like, what, 6th grade?
Yes, my tablet it old.

*Riley's POV*

"Alright everyone," Hunter announced. "this is the meeting spot where Parker is suppose to arrive."

"Thank you Hunter," my mom smiled. "According to his dad, he said they have arrived and they just got their luggages."

Everyone woo-ed.

Michelle nudged my arm. "Is this the time you should be... holding up your uh sign?"

"Yeah yeah..", I felt tired but I held it up anyways. I was pretty embarrassed of how cheesy this is. I regret volunteering to make the sign.

Michelle, Kyle, Hunter and I stood in a straight line bordering the rope that prevents us from entering the area where the doors are. The adults stood back. Suddenly the doors swing open; my eyes grew wide waiting for the tall, curly haired boy to come out but it turned out to be some other random people, possibly arriving from the same plane. That triggered the thought that he will be here soon. Soon as in a matter of minutes... even seconds...

A/N: yay updating! I forgot how much fun it is to write these.
Anyways, I'm currently listening to overdose by exo

Lol I have to admit the song is pretty catchy and stuffs. I was never interested in kpop (not that I didn't like it). Most of my friends are addicted to kpop lol.

I have no idea what 98% of the song means, the 2% are little parts of English which I understood.

My stomach was hurting for the whole day ;-; it's now 6pm-ish.

Oh I have a long weekend rn yay.

Saturday=normal
Sunday=Easter
Monday=Easter Monday

Idk if u guys have this as well (cuz I live in Canada).
