Laugh Out Loud // Parker Games

Chapter 1

*FLASHBACK*

Grade 2. ~~

"Hey you!" Billy walked towards me. It was recess time and I was at the playground but at a shady corner.

"If it isn't the little girl!" Billy was the second grade bully. He always picks on me, no one else.

"What do you have there?" I held my journal close to me. I couldn't let the world know all my secrets.

"Little girl too scared? Aww, that's cute"

I stood up.

"Leave me alone Billy..." I said, quietly. Billy quickly took my journal from my hands.

"What did you say?" Billy waved my journal around above a puddle.

"I said..."

"She said to leave her alone!" A boy came around from the playground stairs.

"Wow, the new kid. What are you going to do about it?" Billy stood up against his face. And that boy is the new kid who just came today.

"I'm going to do this!" The boy turned around. "Oh Mrs. Carter!" Mrs. Carter was our teacher.

"What?!" Billy shouted. Mrs. Carter came.

"Billy! Bullying is not tolerated!"

"Mrs. Carter! I.." Billy stuttered.

"No! You are going to have a time out to think about your actions!!" Mrs. Carter grabbed my journal from his hand and gave it to Parker, grabbed Billy's hand and pulled him away. Then, the new kid turned to me.

"Hey, you okay?"

"... I... yeah... How'd you know he was.."

"I had heard him talking about it with Alex and Frank so I told her about it"

"You mean ALAN and FRANcisco??"

"Yeah.. hehe"

"Well... thank you..." I stopped. I hadn't paid attention when he came. I was busy writing in my journal.

"It's Parker. You are...?" I laughed.

"I'm Riley. "

"Sorry, I'm bad with names." He laughed.

"Yeah! I could tell!"

"Right back at 'cha! And I believe this belongs to you" Parker handed me my journal.

"Oh yeah.. Thank you, Parker" I quickly gave him a hug.

"You wanna play tag?"

*FLASHBACK OVERRR*

That's when Parker and I became friends. Now best friends.

Hi, my name is Riley Shane. And my best friend is Parker. I'm currently in grade twelve/final year of high school.

Our friendship was unbreakable. We always had classes together in elementary. We still had every class during middle school.

I love Parker.

Like... a brother.

Parker helped me get through hard situations like when my dad (Carl) and my older brother (Elliot) died. My brother just got his licence and my dad was helping him with final touches where a large truck had hit them. I would have cried everyday, if it weren't for Parker. Now it's only my mom (Carol), older sister (the oldest, Mya) and my younger brother (Pat/Patrick). And of course, Parker.
