(A/N: I realized that I skipped no. 8 so I updated the chapters so that they are correct now tyvm <3 oh and I also changed the picture for this story cuz I got bored of the last one. Whatcha think?)
Shouts surrounded me. Michelle was still here beside me but Kyle and Hunter went crazy.
There he was, taller than I had expected. Curly hair grown longer since the last time I had seen him. He's wearing his ugly red sweater.
Our eyes suddenly lock together. He lets go of his man-hug with Kyle and Hunter and walks over, leaving his suitcase behind.
"It's uh...", he begins. "It's been a while, huh?" He raises his left hand to his hair.
Memories come flooding back to be. He's childish smile. He's goofy laugh. He's unbelievable parkour skills.
"Oh so you're Parker huh?" Michelle says extending her hand. Parker returns the handshake.
"Yes 'mam I am. Nice to finally meet you." He bows down.
"You're such a gentleman now." I chocked out.
Parker snorted. "You can say that again!" He shifts eyes to my poster.
I flush red as I quickly hide it behind me. "Okay, no need to see this..."
"You've grown so much." Parker lays his eyes back on mine. I hear Michelle's cooing in the background.
"I can say the same thing for you."
He extends his hand towards me. "Shall we go home?"
I take his hand. "Of course."
~~~
"I see you've still kept him." He points to the the bear that's on my bedside table. We are in my room after spending 10 minutes at his house because his mother gave him a gigantic bear hug.
"You'd expect me to throw it out?" I looked at him. Now I'd have to tilt my head more to see his entire face.
How much you have grown...
"No," he walked over and picked it up.
"Hmm.." He took a whiff at it. "it doesn't smell like pepperoni anymore."
"Pepperoni? You remembered I had pizza for everyone on my-"
"Your 10th birthday. Of course I remember. It's the day you hit double digits." He sets it back on my table.
Here, right now, was an awkward silence of him looking out my window and me just watching him. But the silence got broke by a short ringing sound.
"Oops," Parker scrambles out his phone. He smiles as his thumbs tap frantically.
Who could he be texting...
I decided to slowly back away, giving him his space.
"No wait," he called out. He slides his phone back into his pocket and grabs my arm. "I just got here."
"And...?" I blurted out.
Oops. That probably came out way to harsh.
"And?!" He lets go of my arm. "We have to, somehow, catch up."
"Yeah, sure. Anytime. Let me get an apple or something." I turn to walk down the stairs.
"Someone's being healthy." He smirked as he follows me. "Look, um, I gotta get home to, you know, record. But the catch up thing, yes, tomorrow?"
Oh right, the "YouTube" job.
"Oh," I continued to walk down. "Yeah I guess tomorrow is okay."
He smacks behind my head gently. "Great, thanks. And I'll let myself out."
Parker quickly walks down, pushing past me. "See you Riles." Opening the front door, he puts on his shoes and leaves.
What a beginning.
(A/N: omg I have to apologize that I haven't been updating. Whenever I try to write something it doesn't come out right ;/ like I have the scene in my head but it doesn't flow fluidly, lol that science language doe, but what I wrote just now seemed ok to me so... Yay another chapter c:)
