Another thing about Quinn March was she was a cat person. She adored cats. She absolutely loved them. She even had her own calico cat for a pet back at home, named Garfield, who adored Sirius. Which was very ironic considering his animagus was a dog.

It was also very ironic that James Potter, who loved Quinn, was not a cat person. He was the complete opposite of her and hated them. He would try sit as far away from the cat as he could whenever he visited, which backfired on him greatly because Garfield would always be sitting with Quinn.

So every Transfiguration lesson, when McGonagall would sit at the front of the classroom as a cat and then turn herself back into a human, Quinn was deeply amused.

"This year you have your O.W.L.S" McGonagall started "So I will not be going easy on you as I prepare you for your upcoming exams. I know that some of you will be wanting to possibly take Transfiguration for your N.E.W.T.S, in order to do that, you will need an exceeds expectations or higher to take the class after this year"

Quinn liked all her classes, however none amounted to how much she liked Transfiguration and Charms. Even with the essays that could cause agonising pain for ever the smartest people, she still enjoyed them and doing things that included wand work.

"So to start off for this year, I just want to do some recall from last years lesson" McGonagall waved her wand and a list of spells appeared on the board as well as a goblet on the desks.

Quinn and James sat a table behind Remus and Sirius. As she did the spells and changed her goblet into various different objects, she kept an eye on her best friend who had a full moon coming up.

He always got irritable when it was a day away. His senses upscaled and every small noise sounded like it was being made inside his brain. So classes were the absolute worst since people were always talking and laughing, or there would just be the small sounds of pages turning or the tapping of fingers.

So she found it as her unofficial job to look after Remus whenever the full moon was coming up, to make sure that he didn't accidentally snap at someone or shout at a teacher.

Remus sat staring at his goblet, pain etched onto his face. He didn't bother to try and do the spells, he was too tired, plus he knew he could do them so it wasn't like he was too bothered.

Quinn got out of her seat when he placed his head onto the table and groan slightly. She crouched next to the table "Do you want to go to the hospital wing?" She whispered.

"I'm fine" He whispered back.

"No you're not. Please let me take you to Madam Pomfrey" He knew she wouldn't give up on helping him so he nodded. She helped him out his seat and then made their way towards the door.

Professor McGongall knew all about Remus' condition. All the teachers did. She let them leave with a single nod. However, when the rest of the Mauraders had gotten out of their seats to follow, she immediately shut them down.

One, because Remus was in safe hands with Quinn and two, it was the Mauraders, who knew what they could get up to as they escorted their friend to the Hospital Wing.

When they arrived, Madam Pomfrey instantly took over and got him a bed and a potion for his pain.

Quinn fluffed his pillows and practically tucked him into the bed like a mother would her child. Even getting chocolate and instantly refilling his water when the glass became empty.

"This is very annoying" Remus said jokingly towards Quinn. They were both sat cross-legged from each other, a chess board in between them.

"What is?"

"You acting like my mum" Remus laughed at her shocked face.

"I do not act like your mum"

"Yes you do. You act like a mum and treat me like i'm your son"

"Remus John Lupin you take that back"

"See that right there" He pointed at her "That was such a mum thing to say"

"Okay, that did sound make me a sound like a mum. But other than that I do not mother you"

Remus rose an eyebrow, saw his water and got an idea. He grabbed the glass of water and finished off the last bit. When he placed the empty glass back onto the bedside table, Quinn immediately raised her wand, ready to say the water charm to refill it.

She stopped once she realised what she was doing and lowered her wand. She avoided looking at his face knowing he was definitely smirking at being right.

"Do you think you can make it to the Great Hall for lunch or do you wanna have it here?" Quinn changed the subject.

"Honestly, I think if I went to the Great Hall right now, I'd claw my own ear drums out"

"Understandable. I take it you're gonna spend the rest of the day here?"

"Probably for the best"

"Okay well I have to go soon, but I will grab some stuff for you and bring it down"

"That'll be perfect, thank you" He smiled gratefully.

"Hello hello" Sirius Black appeared around the corner of the curtain, followed by Peter and James. The latter sitting onto the bed, sitting closely to Quinn. Peter sat onto the chair next to the hospital bed, whilst Sirius stood.

"Hello" Remus said back.

"Hi" Quinn said "What are you doing here?"

"Are we not allowed to see our best friend who is in the hospital wing?" James asked.

"No I just meant that there was no way Professor McGonagall just let you all leave at the same time"

"She didn't" Peter said, confusing Remus and Quinn.

"We kinda just left when her back was turned" Sirius explained.

"Yeah that makes sense" Remus said to himself, packing up the chess board.

"So anyways we will be spending the rest of the day with you" Sirius stated proudly.

"No you will not" Quinn instantly said "You spent more time outside of class last year than you did inside"

"That's not true" Sirius said.

"No, no, she's right" Peter agreed.

"See, even Peter agrees. You know he doesn't lie"

"Okay fine, we shall go to our lessons this year, just for you" James said

"Yeah, anything for our dearest Quinn" Sirius sat on the otherside of her and gave her a massive hug. James joined in after pulling Peter and Remus into as well, successfully squashing her.

"Hey guys, I have a question" Remus said, pulling away from his friends. They all made themselves comfy on the bed, awaiting Remus' question.

"What's up?"

"Does Quinn ever mother you?"

Instantly all three boys started to talk. Telling different stories of times when she mothered them.
'She always makes me do my homework' or 'She basically tucks me into bed when i'm drunk after parties' and 'There's a reason she always gets along with our mums'

"Okay, okay, I got the picture" Quinn rolled her eyes, stood up and put her hands on her hips "Come on, we've got class soon"

They all stared at the way she was standing, all sharing the same thought. Quinn caught onto what they were thinking and she removed her hands from her hips.

"I hate you all" She walked towards the exit of the Hospital Wing after saying a small goodbye to Remus.

The other three gave him a quick goodbye and then followed after Quinn. No doubt thinking of new ways to annoy her.
