"Who is she?" Harry asked, looking at the picture stuck to Sirius' wall. He looked directly at the girl with a white streak of hair on the left side of her face.
Remus and Sirius shared a solemn look, thinking back to their Hogwarts days.

Prefect duties were stupid, boring and tedious. That's what James and Sirius would say whenever the word prefect was mentioned. Although they probably wouldn't use the word tedious.
Peter didn't really care for prefect duties. He was glad he didn't have to wander around the castle looking for people every week and have to attend meetings
To Quinn and Remus, prefect duties were fun. They liked having the extra authority over the others. They also enjoyed having patrols with just the two of them.
As much as the pair loved the Marauders, they did enjoy having moments were it was just them. They had known each other since they were young. When Quinn's mother, Amelia, was pregnant with Quinn, her and Jax moved into a bigger house where nearby, coincidentally, another mother was also preparing for a baby.
Over the months, the two mothers bonded and the two families became friends. With Amelia and Jax being muggles, they didn't know that Lyall was a wizard.
But once Quinn started to show signs of magic, Lyall and Hope told them about the magical community and about Quinn being a witch. Obviously, Amelia and Jax didn't believe them at first "There's a perfectly good reason for why this is happening" They would say.
When the lights flickered, they would blame the wiring. When doors slammed, they would blame the wind. When things fell to the floor and smashed, they would blame one anothe rofr knocking it off. But then when Quinn made the cat float, the husband and wife realized that maybe their neightbours weren't actually crazy.
And so Lyall answered all their questions about the magical community and helped out with any magical accidents that normal muggles couldn't clean up. And when four year old Remus Lupin was attacked by Fenrir Greyback and bitten, they supported and helped the Lupin's through it.
Quinn and Remus had quite literally known each other their entire lives. They would often think of each other like siblings because of how strong their bond was. The village they lived in often called them twins because any outsider would think they shared a womb.
So when they came to Hogwarts and made friends with three other people, their alone time and drastically decreased. Although they would never complain because they loved their new friends.
So being able to be alone made them feel like they were children again. Even if they were doing their prefect duties. It felt nice being able to keep a piece of their childhood with them when the outside world became less and less innocent with each passing day.
Despite their hatred for prefect duties. James, Sirius and Peter helped them speed up the process and gave them the map for the night.
"Work smarter, not harder" As they would say.
"So then I told her that she should just dump him because behaviour like that doesn't just change. I think she's planning on doing it tomorrow" Quinn ranted "Maybe we should all prank him!"
