DAWN OBVIOUSLY WASN'T GOING TO RISK THE LIVES OF HER PEOPLE AND LEAD SKAIKRU TO HER VILLAGE. She was planning on leading them to one of the reaper caves, which she's had experience escaping. But, as soon as she started leading them in the wrong direction, Murphy jumped in and tattled and she was revoked of her navigating role. Despite arguing that she was taking a shortcut, Bellamy seemed to trust the traitor over the outsider.

Her hands were bound in front of her as the curly-headed boy shoved her in front of him, ensuring she stayed between him and the boy in front in case she made a run for it. Normally, Dawn would've been out of the restraints and running for her life by now, but the handcuffs they had her in were made out of some strangely strong wire and metal, which was making it impossible for Dawn to maneuver her way out of them. Her wrists were scratched raw from moving her hands around in attempts to get them off.

The Murphy boy kept shoving Dawn forward every few yards. "Keep moving, Grounder," he pushed Dawn in the back for the sixth time of the trip.

Dawn lost it, spinning around and raised both restrained fists across the boy's face, causing him to stumble backward, holding his jaw in pain. When their eyes met, Dawn simply raised her eyebrows in warning before turning back around to follow the rest of the group. She could've sworn she saw a ghost of a smirk across Bellamy's lips. She felt Murphy begin to sprint up behind her to tackle her, so without turning around, Dawn simply moved to the left and stuck her foot out, tripping Murphy and sending his face straight into the mud.

Bellamy scoffed, suppressing a laugh before clearing his throat. "Enough. We need to keep moving. I want to be there before dark."

Murphy had led the group to Dawn's home village well before dark. It was closer to noon by the time they got there. As they approached the village, the curly haired boy tied a piece of cloth around Dawn's mouth, ensuring she couldn't call out to her people for help. The group hid behind some rocks just outside the campsite, using the scopes on their guns to get a closer look at the happenings of the Trikru village.

"Told you I'd find it. Complete opposite direction of what the Princess was leading us in," The traitor gloated.

"I see nothing but Grounders," Bellamy replied, using his gun to look closer. The boy with longer hair took the gun from the brunette girl, looking through the scope. "Our people aren't here," Bellamy continued.

"Wait a minute," The long-haired boy halted. "They've got stuff from our dropship."

Dawn moved her head to the side in attempt to get a better view of what the Sky People were looking at.

"So maybe they know where our friends are," Bellamy continued.

"Yeah, or they killed them already," Murphy rebutted. Dawn was thinking the exact same thing. She doubted that the people here had the missing Sky People, the village was mostly women and children, but if they did, they would've been dead within hours of being there.

"Son of a bitch," The long-haired boy spat. Dawn could see his body visibly tense up beside her in anger. In one swift move, the boy spun around, pinning Dawn's chest and throwing her to the ground, keeping one arm across her shoulders, restricting any movement.

Dawn's breath was caught in her throat, unable to breathe, she wheezed as the boy demanded, "Where are our friends?"

Dawn opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out but a struggling wheeze.
