DAWN DIDN'T KNOW HOW THE SKY PEOPLE MANAGED TO DO IT, BUT THEY SAVED LINCOLN. One second he was not breathing on the floor of the dropship with Dawn ready to slit the throats of every Skaikru in the room, and the next there was an electric stick in his chest and his heart had started again.
Dawn was shocked, to say the least. She was unsure of what to feel when she saw that the Sky People were telling the truth. She still didn't trust them, but they managed to... impress her. Somewhat, at least.
That same night, Lexa had ordered for she and Clarke to speak alone, leaving Dawn sitting on a log in front of a fire, with Indra sitting on the other side. Dawn fidgeted with one of her knives, spinning it over the flame until the tip was orange, meanwhile Indra ate some stew.
"I'm sorry about your father, Dawn," Indra spoke for the first time since the two had settled.
The teenager didn't bother looking up, her eyes trained on her blade as she tried not to think about her father's recent death. "I'm sorry, too. I didn't just lose a father. You lost a brother."
Indra pursed her lips, gaze trained on the crackling fire before them as she resisted the emotions pushing through the wall she put up. "You know our ways. We mustn't mourn the dead until the battle is over."
Dawn's gaze fell to her shoes. "Of course. Sorry, Auntie."

It was declared that for Clarke to get the truce she sought, the Sky Person by the name of Finn, the one who committed the massacre at the village, was to be handed over and die at the hands of the people of Trikru. Dawn didn't feel this was nearly enough vengeance for the deaths of all her people who were cruelly slaughtered at Finn's hands, but at least it was a start. The girl's hand was itching for her turn at the boy, for vengeance.
Dawn stood beside Indra and watched as Clarke tried desparately to plead with Lexa to spare the boy's life. She even tried offering to take his place. Clarke was a prime example of why Dawn's unspoken oath to herself to never love or care too much was a smart one. It forced stupid and pathetic decisions like the ones Clarke was making before her very eyes.
Lexa did, however, allow Clarke to bid her love a final goodbye. Dawn watched carefully as the blonde kissed Finn deserately before saying something to him and hugging him in a comforting way. The raven haired girl was left shocked when Clarke pulled away and Finn's head dropped down, unmoving, with Clarke's hand drenched in blood and holding a knife.
She killed him.
Dawn and Indra were simoultaneous in their advances toward the girl in pure rage, as she had stolen the vengeance they were to have for their people, but Lexa held a hand out to halt their actions.
"It is done."
Dawn tried to find closure in the blonde's actions, but she simply couldn't think over the screams of one girl behind Skaikru's walls.
The screams were familiar. It was the same one that had been screaming whilst Dawn was kidnapped. Deafening cries of, "No! No!" was all that was heard from within Skaikru's walls, as everyone else was too shocked to speak.
