You're in your best friend's basement, gathered around a square table. Gathered around you are your friends;

 Micheal Wheeler, he's the dungeon master and the de facto leader of our group

 Lucas Sinclair, he's our knight and he's TINY but has a huge mouth

 Dustin Henderson, he plays as our Dwarf... he doesn't have teeth 'cause of his 'Cleidocranial dysplasia'

Will Byers, he's our wizard, and to be honest, he's pretty soft-spoken. He has a bowl cut... it's cute tho.

[Mike] Do you hear that, listen...

[Mike]Somethings coming, something hungry for blood. A shadow grows on the wall behind you, swallowing you into darkness.... It is almost here.

[Will]...What is it?

[Dustin] What if it's the Demogorgon? We're in deep shit if it's the Demogorgon–

[Y/n] It's not the Demogorgon for Christ's sake! *You facepalm*

[Mike] AN ARMY OF TROGLODYTES CHARGE INTO THE CHAMBER.

Mike slams 6 figures on the table.

[Lucas] Y/n told ya.

[Dustin] pfff.

[Mike] Wait... do you hear that? BOOM... BOOM... BOOM! That sound... it didn't come from the Troglodytes. No, it came from something else.

Mike slams a 2-headed figure on the board

[Mike] The Demogorgon!

[Dustin] We're in deep shit.

[Mike] Will, your action.

[Will] I- I don't know-

[Lucas] Fireball him!

[Y/n] Too risky, he'd have to roll a 13 or higher!

[Dustin] Cast a protection spell!

[Mike] The Demogorgon is tired of your silly Human bickering. It stomps toward you. BOOM!

[Lucas] Fireball him Will!

[Mike] Another step. BOOM!

[Y/n] Cast protection!

[Mike] It roars in anger. Will you take action?

[Will] FIREBALL!

As will rolls the dice, they roll off of the table. You and your friends get up from the table to try to look for the dice.

[Dustin] Is it a 13?!

[Will] I don't know!

The basement door swings open, WHAM! You all look up to see Mike's mom, Karen wheeler. She's in her late 30's and she's pretty nice to me. Well, as nice as she gets.

I guess she and I have something in common... shitty male relatives.

She's never been quite fond of Ted, Mike's dad. She tries to hide it, but in all of the years I've been around, you pick up on subtle and not-so-subtle things. Then there's my dad. He's an unavailable, racist, narcissist, and a really, and overall just a shitty parent. But, back to reality.

[Mike] Mom, we're in the middle of a campaign-

[Karen] You mean the end of!

She tapped her watch
