Tanks and dust rise in the desert
Sirens everywhere
And the sun cries
Loud.......
Loud that the passing wind cannot hold it
The camel looks
Turns and looks
Before the stray iron
That it knew nothing about......
shuts its guess
It tumbles
And raises a ball of everlasting dust
And alas!
the silence
Flags in the air
Flags in the poles
Flags that stand in the sand
Stay still
Silence
And more silence
