The dark mark

Chloe potter stood with her best friend Pansy Parkinson as they attended the quidditch World Cup.

She looked to Pansy as she twirled with her bright red hair and sighed as she looked to Pansy

"remind me why we came here, you hate quidditch" Chloe said as Pansy looked to her and rolled her eyes

"it was your idea, you are the who who wanted to annoy your brother besides Draco is here with his father" Pansy said as Chloe nodded

"fair enough. Let's go and find them" Chloe said, Chloe looked over to see her brother as he stood with the weasleys.

Chloe looked to them and frowned. She hated how it was with them.

Chloe knew how she was sorted into Slytherin and how he had turned against her because of what ron weasley said and how he had told Harry how old Slytherin were bad and Chloe hated hoe he was.

Chloe knew that she had become the Slytherin queen and had formed friendships with Pansy Parkinson and Draco malfoy but it still hurt her how her own brother walked out on her.

Chloe and Pansy walked off to find the Malfoy's as she walked past the weasleys. She walked into ron making sure he spilt his drink on him and smirked

"Watch where you are going weasley" Chloe said smirking

"Slytherin whore" he spat as Chloe went to go for him

"leave it Chloe blood traitors like this aren't worth it" Pansy said as Chloe nodded

"yes it's a pity they don't know what's good for them" Chloe said as she walked off. Chloe soon saw Draco and Lucius Malfoy

"hi Draco, mr Malfoy" Chloe said as Lucius looked to the young potter and smiled, he knew how Chloe potter wasn't a pureblood but she was a Slytherin and she was nothing like her brother and because of that he respected her and had no problem with his son's friendship with her

"father and I are were invited to the ministers box by Cornelius fudge himself" Draco said as Pansy rolled her eyes at him bragging

"we better go and find our seats" Pansy said to Chloe who nodded.

Chloe frowned as she saw Harry and the weasleys above them and sighed

"yes let's go" Chloe said

"are they bothering you" Lucius malfoy asked as Chloe sifted

"they called me whore, don't worry about it"

"don't worry those blood traitors and your brother will get what's coming to them soon enough" Lucius said as Chloe couldn't help but smirk at the comment as Draco placed a hand on her arm and smiled

"don't worry they will get what's coming" he said as Chloe looked to him and smiled

Chloe sat on the train to Hogwarts as she sat reading the daily prophet over what had happened at the World Cup and sighed

"are you okay" Pansy asked as Chloe rubbed her collar bone where her star shaped scar was as she smiled

"it's hurting, the only reason I have this is as it bounced of the precious boy who lives and hit me" Chloe said as Pansy smiled

"have you thought over writing to lupin over this. He is your godfather and he will be worried" Pansy said as Chloe looked to her best friend and nodded

"it's his time of the month I'll write to him in a few days. There's not a lot he can do right now" Chloe said as she looked to the dark mark and sighed.

Chloe knew how things were and she was worried. She knew that the dark lord had killed her parents and she knew that she may be a Slytherin but she knew she'd never be a follower and it scared her. Chloe was scared over what his mark meant

"hey are you okay" Draco asked as Chloe smiled

"I know that you are worried but the dark lord...if he returns he wouldn't go after you, you are protected I promise" Draco said as he placed a hand on top of hers as Chloe smiled as they held a look

Chloe sat at the Slytherin table as they all sat down. Chloe knew that something was going on this year as an arrival of a carriage and ship had arrived.

Chloe looked to the feast in front of her and sighed. She was starving and wanted to eat. She looked as dumbledore got up onto the podium

"Now we're all settled in and sorted, I'd like to make an announcement. This castle will not only be your home this year but home to some very special guests as well. You see Hogwarts has been choosen..." he started to say as filch ran through the hall and over to where he was as he started to say something

"what is going on" Pansy asked as Chloe shrugged as she looked to dumbledore, she made a mental note to write to her godfather Remus lupin when she eventually got back to her dorm

"So Hogwarts has been choosen to host a legendary event. The Tri-Wizard tournament. Now for those of you who do not know, the tri-wizard tournament three schools for a series of magical contests. From each school a single contestant is selected to compete. Now let me be clear, if choosen alone. And trust me when I say these contests are not for the faint hearted, but more of that later. For now please join me in welcoming the of the Beauxbatons Academy and their headmistress Madam Maxime" dumbledore said as as they watched the girls dressed in blue dance up the aisle and release butterflies into the air.

They bow and everyone applauds as Chloe rolled her eyes at them

"And now our friends from the north, please greet the proud sons of Durmstrang and the high master Igor Karkaroff" dumbledore said as A series of older boys walk up the aisle brandishing wooden sticks, twirling them around and periodically stabbing them into the ground with a spark effect.

"Is that viktor krum I had no idea he was still at school" Chloe said

"I know" Pansy said as the two girls looked to him. Neither of them saw the jealous look Draco malfoy gave Chloe.

They all knew that this year at Hogwarts was going to change especially Chloe and dracos friendship and how nothing would be as it was before
