The next step

Chloe stood in her dorm. She looked to the ball dress that she had been send and sighed. Chloe knew that things were hard and she hated it. Chloe knew that it should be something that she did with her mother but she didn't have her mother around

"Hey are you okay" Noelle asked as she walked in

"I am okay. I was just thinking over things and my mum. I know how I don't have one. I didn't really know her but I just wish that she was here" she said as Noelle smiled

"You are allowed to miss her. Even if you were only little. Is this the dress my mother picked out for you. It's beautiful"Noelle said as Chloe smiled

"Your worried aren't you over the whole thing. You and Draco and going to the ball with him aren't you" she asked as Chloe smiled

"I am. He's my best friend and now we're getting older and things and feelings are changing and I want to make it work with us but I don't want to ruin our friendship" Chloe said as Noelle looked to her and smiled

"I get it. I get that you feel what way but you don't have to worry. Look whatever happens or doesn't have at the Yule hall. You and Draco can deal with if and if something happens with you. You can make it work. Besides it might be the greatest thing to happen" Noelle said as Chloe smiled

Chloe knew it wasn't easy. She knew that she had fears but she knew how she was going to the ball with Draco and she knew that even if he was her best friend right now. She knew how things were changing with them both and they were no longer kids

Chloe got ready for the ball and sighed as she looked to her appearance. She couldn't help but feel nervous "you ready" Noelle asked

"No. I'll be there soon" Chloe said. Noelle looked to her and nodded. Chloe looked to her hair that she had curled and pinned it up and smiled

After sorting herself out she headed to the great hall. She saw Draco as he stood in a tux. Chloe couldn't help but think over how good shah he looked. Draco frowned as he saw Chloe as he walked over to her

"Do I look okay?" She asked as Draco took her hand and smiled

"Perfect" he said as he kissed her cheek. She looked to him and smiled as he took her hand as they headed into the great hall.

Chloe could feel people looking at her, Harry , ron for one and she didn't care. She hated how they treated her and she hated how she was made out to be the villain

Chloe stood with Draco as she drank some punch "do you want to get out of here" he asked as Chloe looked to him

"Why what we're you thinking" she asked as he smiled

"I thought we could get some air. I don't know" he said as she smiled

"How about we see if there's a carriage outside empty have some fun of our own" Chloe said as Draco looked to her

"You want too?" He asked as she nodded

He lead her out of the great hall. He pulled her close and kissed her as Chloe wrapped her arms around his neck as he pushed her against the wall as they kissed passionately

Chloe knew how everything was about to change between her and Draco but was she ready to take the next step?
