Elio laying on his stomach with his arm tucked underneath his pillow asleep his sheets tangled all around him as He hears his house phone ringing on the nightstand and groans into his pillow, before turning over for his arm to reach out for the phone to take off the hook pressing it to his ear

"Hello" he says as he glances at the clock to see its 5 am and the familiar voice yet a stranger to him says "Hello" "Elio" I'm sorry to be calling you so late" Elio rubbing his eyes checking the bed to see the rest of the bed empty before saying "Who is this"
The familiar voice says "this is Oliver" Elio whole body froze with shock before thinking how he got this number and speaks out loud with his voice uneasy

"I got it from Mr.Perlman, I really wanted to talk to you after seeing you in England, I was hoping you would come for my son's Bar Mitzvah" Elio sighs "Oliver I can't before getting cut off by Oliver voice"
"Please just say Yes, you don't have to stay long lf you don't want to" Elio take the phone away from his ear thinking lf He should actually say yes, he does hate that he left without notice

"Okay but he pauses pressing the phone back up to his ear so Oliver can hear his answer before finishing his sentence saying okay my answer is yes and Oliver says "great, I will be there at the train station when you get off, are you leaving by tomorrow?" Elio says "yes I will let you know before I leave my apartment" while sitting up straight on the edge of his bed running his other free hand through his hair as Oliver says Okay good, hear from you soon and he pauses then says "Later"

Elio shakes his head and smiles and says "Later" before hearing the line goes dead and he puts the phone back on the hook before deciding to lay down on the messy bed sheets wide awake for the five hours either pacing around his bed room or writing in his journal about he was stupid to agree that he was going to England and seeing Oliver happy without him but he knows he always had a soft spot for him even after 20 years has passed

Also He knows he is acting like he was 17 again which brought the thrill with love and heartbreak memories of that summer and he knows he was needed some closure even lf it will still hurt him or even angered him to see Oliver with his wife and his kids after getting left in the dust and getting that phone call at that moment, Elio had to stop pacing and sat down on his bed and put his hands through his hair before sighing "I'm already a train wreck and I'm not even on the train yet" "fuck me"

Elio pushes his back against the middle of his bed and falls asleep short while after tiring his brain out with more of that summer memories, When it is finally morning he gets out of his bed and makes it up neatly before heading into the bathroom so he can use the toilet and take his shower after stripping out of his grey shorts and white tank top along with his Calvin Kevin boxers and Elio stays in the shower for twenty minutes washing his body before getting out and wrapping a towel around his waist after drying himself

He opens the bathroom door and walks out to his open closet and picks out a black short sleeve shirt with khaki pants, putting the shirt on then the pants after finding him some boxers to slip on and gets his suitcase out of his living room by the front door so he can pack all of his clothes he needed in one side and toiletries and continues to pack for all the rest of his morning
