Valentine's Surprise

When their lips finally parted, they both blushed and smiled.

'I just couldn't believe you liked me in that way' Zoe said shyly.

'What's not to like?' Luka replied. 'I've enjoyed getting to know you better over this past week and to be honest, it's made me develop a crush on you too. The way you blush is just so adorable!' Luka chuckled, as his comment made Zoe blush again.

'Keep doing that and I might just have to kiss you again' Luka breathed.

Zoe smiled and turned even redder as Luka chuckled and kissed her again, more passionately than before.

They fed each other the rest of the choc coated strawberries.

'Wait, you said first Valentine before' Luka said.

'Yeah, I mean apart from the one I gave you today' Zoe replied.

'But you didn't give me one today' Luka said, confused. He got out all of his cards that were all friendship cards, from Marinette, Nino, Alya, Alix, Rose, Juleka, Ivan and Mylene.

'What? I know I wrote you one' Zoe said. She opened up her bag and felt around.

'Oh, here it is! It must have slipped to the bottom of my bag and it never made it to the Valentine box! I'm so sorry!' Zoe said.

'Maybe it's fate that I found your first one when I did then' Luka said softly. 'Otherwise I might still have had no idea how you felt' he smiled lovingly.

'Well, here you go!' Zoe said, giving Luka his Valentine.

Luka took it, but threw it aside.

'I don't need to read that one' Luka smiled. 'As far as I'm concerned, your first one was perfect. You spoke from the heart and I had fun trying to figure out who my secret admirer was. And I'm so glad it's you.'

Luka pulled her in close as she rested her head on Luka's chest and they both sighed happily.

'To be honest, I was a bit thrown when you gave me a friendship card' Zoe said.

Luka chuckled. 'Well, I couldn't make it that obvious could I?' he replied as he kissed her hair.

They both giggled as they sighed in each others embrace.

Luka and Zoe took a selfie each and posted on their social media, with the caption.

"Surprised by/Surprising my Valentine in our special place."

All their friends loved their post.

They both got notifications on their phones as Juleka and Rose had declared on their social media accounts that they were officially a couple, and had tagged all their friends.

'Way to go sis!' Luka smiled.

'Yeah, I'm so happy for them both!' Zoe replied.

They both sent 'love' emojis on their phones to their post, as well as all their other friends. Even Zoe saw her friends from school, Nathaniel and Marc were now an item too and loved their post.

Zoe helped Luka take down all the decorations and pack up the rug and Luka's violin and secured everything on the back of his bike. Luka then walked with her with his bike, back to the hotel, before it got dark.

'Goodnight Zoe my love. Sweet dreams' Luka smiled as he looked lovingly into her eyes.

Zoe sighed happily as she stared back into Luka's sparking turquoise eyes.

'Goodnight my sweet prince. Sleep well' Zoe replied as Luka put his arms around her waist and Zoe put her arms around his neck as they kissed each other goodnight.

'Special place again after school tomorrow?' Zoe asked.

'How about we go see the new Jagged Stone movie?' Luka asked.

'Ooh I've been wanting to see that! Sounds like a plan!' Zoe said excitedly.

'Great, there's a 4pm screening at the cinema down the road' Luka smiled.

'Awesome! See you then my prince!' Zoe replied.

'You too, my love' Luka smiled as he got on his bike and waved as he cycled back to the Liberty.

When Zoe got inside, she texted Marinette everything that happened and Marinette was so happy for her!

Marinette: See, I told you that the first Valentine you wrote was perfect!

Zoe: Yeah, yeah, I'll never doubt you again my friend! 😆
