Previously on War Is Over In Peter Hales apartment he heard a knock on the door and assuming it's his daughter he opens it, "Adel-" he cuts himself off seeing his supposedly dead wife on the other side. "Jo?"
"Hello husband" she greets with a smirk.
Adeline Talia Hale made her way towards the pet clinic her friend works at.
Scott McCall had told her about Allan Deaton - who she had yet to meet - and how he knew almost everything about the supernatural world.
She walked into the pet clinic and heard the bell on the door ring.
"We're closed" she heard a man shout.
"Allan Deaton?" Adeline asks.
Deaton comes out of the shadows and looks at the girl "sorry we're closed."
"My name is Adeline Hale. You knew my family" she introduces, making the man's eyes peak with interest. "Scott told me you know stuff about the supernatural and I can't ask my dad for the bestiary without telling him why so... do you mind if I ask you?"
Deaton moves to the side moving the mountain ask barrier to let the girl in "your Jo's daughter aren't you?"
Adi nods looking at the man in amazement "yeah, how did you know?"
"I used to be an emissary, but after Laura, died I'm not anymore" he explains. "Talia and your mother would come down here and do business with the packs before the fire. And you definitely look like Jo..."
The auburn haired girl nods with a smile, "I get that a lot" she says and looks at the man as she sets her hands down on the metal table, "what do you know about a darach?"
Deaton raises his eyebrows "It's a Druid, it's also a supernatural reoccurrence" he starts.
"Yeah, I read about it in the bestiary. Darach never came up though."
"How do you know of the word darach" the vet questions.
"I got some witch abilities from my mothers side. I don't have my own magic so I have to steal it from others. So I slowly siphon off of my wolf side" she explains. "My mothers ancestors, consider me an abomination for my talents. So they give me creepy visions whenever they see something important." She informs him. "May I?" She questions reaching for his hand.
