You run in to the house sobbing
"Hey y/n what's wrong" your brother asks grabbing your arm
" they took my necklace John b he stole it was the one dad gave me " you said still crying now against your brothers shoulder
" who " he says hugging you
" rafe and topper they found me at the boat dock and jumped me"you say sobbing
" jj where's your gun" John b asks looking at him
" the front porch why" jj says standing up
" take care of her I'll be back in a bit " John b says running out the door
" dude wait " jj says starting to go after him but stops when he sees you leaning on the wall still crying He stops torn between going after his friend and helping you. Finally he gives in and walks over to you.
" hey y/n he'll be okay he's not as stupid as me" jj try's to say in a reassuring tone giving a small smile
" but what if he gets hurt and what if he gets in a fight what if the cops get involved what if they find out we don't live with an adult what if we get separated -" you mumbled to quickly sobbing more and more as you do
" hey hey can we try to take some deep breath please? "jj says taking your hand
He has had his fair share of panic attacks and could recognize one from a mile away
" okay on the count of 3we take a breath ok ..1..2..3..in..1..2..3 out". JJ says talking your hands you and him repeat these steps a few times till you had calmed down enough to talk to him.
" let's go to your room ,I'll light that candle you like the smell of and we can listen to your favorite songs " jj says after you had both taken a few deep breaths
"Yea that sound nice " you say as you let him lead you to your room he pulls out his lighter and lights the candle on your window-seal you smile as you place a CD in to your old ratio. You sigh at the memory's all the songs brought back
Like The first time Jj slept over last summer and ended up falling through a hole in the porch.
OR the many times your dad let you dance on his toes even though you were both bad dancers and it always ended with both of you laughing till you couldn't breath.
Or the time you and John b stayed up all night making a present for your dad on Father's Day.
You fall back onto you bed and sigh you feel jj sit next to you . Pat the bed and he lays down you smile when you hear him spinning his lighter around his fingers -something he does when he's nervous- you put your hand over the lighter and take it siting it on you bed side table
" sorry was I being annoying" He says siting up
"No" you respond still laying down
" hey are you ok " he asks and you can hear the worry in his voice
"Yea I'm good"you say smiling looking over at him
"Dance with me " you say standing up
" what why " jj asks getting off the bed
"Because it's fun and it helps me relax and calm down so why not" you say grabbing his hand me smirks as you dance he makes his way behind you and rests his hands on your hips as you dance
"Who taught you to dance " jj asks pressing his chest to your back and running his hands up your outstretched arms swaying with you
" I taught myself " you say turning around to face him
" hi " he says as his hand falls on your waist
"Hi" you say as you both slowly start to sway to the music. You and him dance for a while you start sniffling and he quickly notices
" hey you ok" he ask hugging you a bit
"Thank you" you say your head resting on his chest
" for what " jj says trying to sound tuff
" helping me " you say the words stabbed deep into JJs heart
" no thank you" he says hiding his face in you shoulder as he starts to sniffle to
" I guess your welcome " you say still hugging him just then you hear someone come in the door quite loudly making you jump JJ immediately puts you behind him as he crept to the door way
"HAY GUYS WHERE ARE YA" you hear your brothers voice and rush out of your room you see him siting on the couch panting
" are you ok " you say rushing over to him
" never better"he says smiling as he hands you your necklace.
" omg how did you get it back " you ask putting it on quickly
" after I had calmed down a bit I just went and reported it as stolen goods and Peterkin made sure to get it back to me" he says laughing
" also rafe and topper are probably gonna be put on house arrest soon caused I pressed charges for assault and Battery and along with the thieving and the proof that they stole something Peterkin said that it was enough evidence for a case and she would get us a good lawyer so basically were set" he says smiling
" omg no way you actually did that" you say gasping
" yup sure did " he says still smiling
" OMG Jj did you hear that omg omg omg". You say jumping up in down
" can y'all keep it down " a pile of clothes sitting in a chair says
" wtf pope" you all say laughing
