Chapter 4

"So what do you wanna do today" Italy asked Germany as he was making breakfast.

"Play, bake, sleep, what about you honey?" Germany asked. he was sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee and a newspaper.

"I don't care I just want to be with you"

"Oh let's murder some Jews then" he stated sarcastically with a small smirk on his face.

"Not funny." Italy replied flatly

"Sorry."

"It's ok baby I still love you no matter what."

"I love you too, Italy." Italy turned his attention off of breakfast for a moment and placed a small peck on Germany's cheek which immediately made him blush. Italy laughed at that.

"That blush of yours is so cute!" he said while still giggling. tho just made Germany's face turn a deeper red, almost as red as one of Spain's tomatoes.

Italy turns his attention back to the pasta and wurst that he was making for breakfast. the phone rings and Germany gets up to answer it.

Phone call:

"Hallo?" Germany answered the phone.

"Lieutenant Beilschmidt, we have am emergency! A Jew is trying to escape, they were heading for the east side of the fence!"

"Ok I'm on my way!" he then hung up the phone and ran into the room to change into his uniform. He walked back out to the kitchen.

"Germany where are you going? we are suppose to be spending the day together." Germany was almost out the door when Italy said that, he sighed and walked over to his boyfriend.

"I know, mein liebe. there is an emergency and I have to go help, but I will be back as soon as I can. ok?" Italy sighed and nodded.

"Ok. be safe." and with a kiss his lover was gone.
