Camilo's Jealousy

           "You cant catch me, Camilo! Your so slow!" I teased and continued running. Camilo and I were playing a game of catch in the village. Suddenly, I tripped on my foot, as usual, and braced myself for impact. At that moment, I felt a hand on my shoulder, preventing me from falling. 

           At first, I thought that it was Camilo but it was not. It was a boy, maybe around Camilo and my age? "Be careful, Bonita." The guy said. Camilo was certainly not happy when he heard the guy call me bonita. 

           "Thank you, uh." 

           "Daniel." The boy said and wanted to shake my hand but before i could, Camilo came. "Mi amor, are you okay?" He put his hand on my cheek.

           I nodded. "Thanks to Daniel. Daniel, this is my boyfriend, Camilo. Camilo, Daniel." I introduced. Camilo frowned and looked Daniel up and down. Daniel felt uncomfortable and said, "see you around Bonita!" I looked at Camilo and he rolled his eyes at Daniel.

           "Jealous huh. I never knew Mr. Madrigal would ever get jealous." I snickered. 

           "Your mine, Mrs./Mr Madrigal. Only mine." Camilo said and kissed me on the lips. After that, he pulled my hand and walked back to the casita. Those words made me stunned. 

           Suddenly, it started raining. "Looks like Mami is unhappy." Camilo said. Camilo suddenly burst into a wide smile. He pulled my hand towards his body and put my hands on his shoulder. My heart started fluttering as he put his hands on my waist. 

           "Lets dance, mi amor." Camilo grinned. 

           "I dont think Abuela would approve of this." and started laughing softly.

           Camilo looked around. "Well...I dont see Abuela here." He continued and smirked. I rolled my eyes.  

           "Dont be silly, Madrigal. You might get sick. We can go to my house in the meantime, its not far from here" I said and pulled him to my home. 

           I gave Camilo a towel and made my way to the kitchen to make him some hot tea. "Awh. Mrs./Mr. Madrigal cares about me." Camilo said. I smirked at his remark. "No i dont. why would i." I replied.

           "hey uh y/n."

           "hm?" 

           "This is for you." Camilo took out a box from his pocket. I gave him a puzzled look. "For me?" I confirmed. Camilo nodded. I untied the ribbon and opened the box. It was a locket. I opened the locket and it was a picture of both Camilo and I. 

           "To show you how much i love you." Camilo said.

           After a while, the rain stopped. Camilo and I walked out of the house, back to the casita. On the way there, I heard a familiar voice from behind. "Bonita!" I looked behind and it was Daniel. I waved at him. Camilo wanted to pull me away but i slapped his hand away. 

           "I didnt manage to get your name." Daniel said. 

           "y/n. My name is y/n." I replied. Daniel smiled. Before he left, he took my hand and kissed it. 

           "Bye, Bonita." He said and walked away.

           I looked at Camilo's jealous facial expression. I chuckled. Camilo pulled my hand  and walked back to the casita. "Wash your hands when we reach. I dont want his filthy lips touching any part of you." I smiled. "Yes, Querido." I answered. 

           While i was washing my hands, Camilo stood behind me and put his hands on my soapy hands. He scrubbed the place that Daniel kissed thoroughly and gently. After that, He slid his fingers through the gaps of my fingers and held my hands. 

           "Awh, Mrs/Mr Madrigal is blushing." Camilo teased me and put his head on my shoulder. I could feel his heart thumping wildly. 

             "Awh, Mr. Madrigal, your heart is thumping wildly. Are you embarrassed?" I grinned and washed the soap out of my hands. I went under Camilo's hands as he was stiff and he smiled wider. He quickly washed his hands and muttered. "This is why I love you more each day, mi amor." and quickly caught up with me.

           I wiped my drenched hands on Camilo's poncho, creating a heart shape and laughed. Suddenly, Antonio came back home and Pepa called Camilo. Camilo covered his brother's eyes and kissed me on the lips before attending to his mother. 

           Antonio was confused and looked at me in confusion. I laughed at his facial expression before going up to my room.
