Celeste had finished packing her bags the night before, as had everyone else. She knew she would be there for a week. So, she packed 14 shirts, 8 pants, 6 dresses, 3 bathing suits, and 5 jackets. Even she admitted that she overpacked. But, as she always told everyone, "it's better to have extra than to not have enough", which was logical, just.....extreme. She woke up that Saturday morning at 7:30am, her flight leaving at 4pm. Plenty of time to go run to the store and clean her apartment before leaving. Not to mention, her and Sam hadn't been working out. They ended it last night. Sam wanted to move to France and quit her coffee job. Celeste understood. A coffee shop job wasn't a dream job and she couldn't be mad at her either. She had done similar when she moved to California to act. Moving for her dream. Not regretting a thing. The hours leading up to the flight flew by. Pun intended. It was now 1:30pm when she decided to take her Uber to the airport so she had time to get a bagel and coffee. She swore those bagels had crack in them. They were delicious. The Uber ride was silent except for the "Hello!" when Celeste greeted the lady, receiving a "Hi" back and then no more words until arriving and hearing a "We're here" as if she couldn't see that. Now, it was 2:45pm and she sat on one of the chairs, reading one of the money books she had packed, trying to pass time. Occasionally marking something down and tabbing it. Would people think i'm weird for writing and tabbing this book? she thought as she turned the page. _________________________________________
