Y/N had teleported to a familiar looking grass field in her homely town and stretched out her arms happily.
"Yep, it's much better out here, safe and sound then in the scary city!"
She frolicked her way home, just grateful that she had managed to get herself out of such a terrifying bind.
Now that she thought about it, the people she had encountered appeared to be wearing the same school uniform as her. Y/N looked down at her skirt.
"Yep, that human girl was definitely wearing this skirt.. man this is so weird. How did I NOT realize that I was going to school with vampires?"
Now that Y/N thought about it, at school, she didn't really pay much attention to her surroundings. She had made the mistake of believing that it was a safe space where she couldn't possibly be harmed.
"Looks like I've got a lot more to learn huh."
She sighed and sat down on her couch. Y/N knew she needed to revisit the vampire books that she had been given. It was essential.
She wanted to be prepared and NOT run away next time she would be inevitably interacting with them.
{Sakami Household POV}
Ayato was still sulking, thinking about the mysterious girl who had disappeared on him. Only vampires had that ability right?
Reiji walked in on him with a look of disgust on his face.
"Are you really so pathetic as to obsess over some random human?"
He sneered at him.
Raito walked in as well.
"Reiji~ you're always so cold! But y'know Ayato, he's right. I did notice that she had the same uniform as us, so I'll catch that little bitch myself when I see her at school tomorrow!"
Ayato looked up, glaring at the both of them.
"Both of you are wrong and no, it will be me who will catch her. I'll punish her for escaping me just you wait"
A young looking boy entered.
"Hey Kanato, why did you skip school today?"
Reiji looked down, irritated at him. Kanato simply yawned and replied
"Teddy wasn't feeling too well.. I had to nurse him back to health."
Ayato scoffed.
"Give me a break, that's a fucking toy. Hey why is he allowed to ditch class but I can't?!"
"Who said either of you were permissible? School is just as important as everything else."
Reiji proclaimed. He huffed and turned around, exiting the room.
"Maan, he always makes his exits so dramatic."
Raito cooed.
"But yeah I've gotta get going too, see you later. I'm seeing what little Yui is up to hehe~"
{Y/N POV}
"So it says right here that vampires are not good at dealing with mercury or iron. Hmm, 'Just one injection around the naval or neck area will cause a vampire to hyperventilate and seizure'. Great so where the hell am I getting some mercury?"
Y/N knew iron would be an easy find, she practically had a jar full of it in her kitchen. Her house in general was actually quite large, it could be said to be have been a young lords house back in the Victorian era.
She was able to have acquired the manor house after backpacking all alone after running away from home. She was desperate to find shelter and with the help of her powers had stumbled upon the shelter that the average backpacker couldn't even dream of finding.
"I sure cleaned the place up a bit but I never expected to find a torture chamber with a dungeon.."
Y/N was still perplexed, thinking hard about where the mercury and injection needles would be. She knew that unless she liquefied iron, it would be entirely useless to use.
It had a melting point of 1538 Celsius and even though Y/N could survive higher temperatures (and lower ones) then the average human, that was entirely TOO high.
Mercury on the other hand, was liquid at room temperature and so would be a lot easier to inject.
"OH YEAH! I can just use the thermometers they have at school! I mean it's a weekend tomorrow so the school won't be open but that's even better. I can collect the necessary stuff and feed it into my syringe!"
Y/N was determined to carry out her plan.
