I woke up drenched in sweat

My vision still blurry but I can hear perfectly

"Is that.... Sobs..? "

I looked at the door to find it open, and I can clearly see someone sitting beside it

"Alatus? "

The sobbing stopped and he quickly disappeared

I looked up, preventing my tears from falling

-Xiao POV-

I sat beside Y/N's door

A few minutes later, I heard their voice speaking.. And it sounded like they were trembling

"What.. "

"No! No! I'm sorry! Just please! "

They suddenly shouted
It startled me, I quickly stood up and was about to head in

But.. I couldn't..

'What's preventing me.. '

That question, I couldn't answer

Just then I saw them still sleeping, but they we're whimpering

I tried to go in again, but to no avail

"I promise I won't go out again! Just please! "

They shouted again

I stood there, watching, knowing what they were dreaming about

Tears came to my eyes as I saw them trembling

I sat beside their door again

I couldn't stop sobbing

"Xiao! Save me..! "

'I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I COULDN'T GET YOU OUT OF THERE SOONER! '

"Ven- Vent-.. "

They said, stuttering

I couldn't breathe, crying was the only thing I could do

"Sav-Save.. Me! "

It sounded like they were out of breath

I covered my mouth to try and stop the sobbing

"I-im so-sorr-y"

I said stuttering and crying

"Alatus? "

I stood up quickly and ran out of there

'They can't see me like this.. '
