the festival

-Y/N POV-
the festival is finally here and I just finished the last batch of cookies I'd be selling at the fest

When I arrived, everything was beautiful and perfect as expected of Jean

Most of the work got dumped on her since she's one of the higher ups in the government

Setting up my booth with the twins, Jean came to my side with our siblings in tow

"So you did end up selling" - J
"Yep, I mean if you said it was great, might as well sell some, I'm selling it for charity too" - You
"Such a modest civi-" - J
"Cookies?! " - K

Klee exclaimed, she got so hyped up and all cute I couldn't resist so I gave her one

"Look here Klee, it's dodoco! I made specifically for you, if you want more I can give you some later" - You
"Yay! I love dodoco! " - K

I got up and continued setting up the booth when I spotted a familiar face

"Well, well, looky here, we have our lovely Y/N, so~ how have you been? " - Ka
"Hello to you too Kaeya, I believe you haven't met the twins yet? " - You
"Twins? Those two behind you? " - Ka
"Yes, those twins obviously Kaeya, I didn't think you were blind both eyes"

Lisa butted in

"Hey! "

Kaeya exclaimed and playfully hit his sister

"Miss Jean! Miss Lisa's here! " - Lu
"Oh please, you don't have to call me miss cutie, you can just call me Lisa" - Li
"But that-" - Lu
"No but's" - Li
"Yess mi- Lisa... " - Lu
"There you go, you don't have to call me Miss too" - J
"Okay.. " - Lu

Lumine was forced to agree to the both of them, I knew she was uncomfortable doing that, I know she's gonna have a hard time

(It's so hard having to write people with the same first letter name in the dialogue, it's confusing)

As I finished, more people started to come by the booth

There were some supplies and ovens in the back in case we need some more, the rest of the day was spent coming and going back and forth in the back

Rest of the cookies that was extras, we ate the time the fest ended

Not biased or anything, but the cookies we baked were actually really good

I get why those people kept coming back

"Hey, Jean? What if I actually turned this into a business, would you help me? Of course not now I still-" - you
"Of course I would, why wouldn't I? You're my sibling, you've done so much, it's time we pay you back for that" - J

I smiled at her and she smiled back

With Lumine having a combeback right now I don't have that much free time, my sleep schedule has also changed, from 8 hours of sleep to almost none in a week

So if I looked tired at the fest while we were selling, it was probably because of that

I'm not saying that this is good or I want Lumine to go down or anything, but I'm probably gonna need more rest

I'm pretty sure she's planning on getting more staff in the future since she's the one who brought that up

So I'm finally gonna-

As soon as we got home and I get to my bed, I passed out
