I thank God every day for the life I have,
I shouldn't be here, there's no rhyme for that,
I thank God every day for my children too,
They're a true blessing, I'm glad I have two,
I thank God for my family and blessings,
Kind of caring that won't leave you guessing,
I thank God I have a gift for writing,
In tough times I won't be hiding,
I'm thankful for all I have and things I've done,
At this moment, thanks to God I have won!
