A year later, and the B&B has been going strong.

Tae and Jimin are happily together and seeking a third. Jimin, like Tae, is bi and both agreed they have enough love and respect to give to someone else. Needless to say, the two moved out but both work weekends here at the B&B. Tae got his dream job of interior designing, locally of course. He's done a number on Jimin's bakery- that's right. Jimin's gram was so impressed she gave him the bakery while she retired. She's been making book club friends and doing some traveling. Jimin couldn't be happier for her, she's been doing great and is in perfect health.

Everything for the most part is the same, the locals have taken to holding events at the B&B since Jungkook and I expanded the garden. Yup, we're... together, officially living together as well. Jungkook still does his handyman work for the locals, but most of the time he's here, working on whatever he can. He's even taken to fixing up Aunties old truck, and he's working on a treehouse for when we have guests with kids. Jungkook's great with kids and I admit, it makes him even more attractive, which I didn't think possible.

With Christmas just ending, we were starting to say goodbye to some guests, and hello to some new ones who were looking to get away for new years. With the new year fast approaching again, Jungkook had a nice dinner planned for just the two of us, in our favorite wheat field, under the stars.

"How do you manage to always set up this place?" I asked as the sun was setting and Jungkook led me out to the clearing in the middle of the wheat field behind the B&B.


"I never did mention that huh?" He grinned as he pulled out the chair to an outdoor dining set, he'd put out here without me knowing, food prepared in containers sat on the nicely set table. He pulled off the lids and started to plate the delicious items he made.

"Nope, you always fail to mention that. And we've been out here quite a few times." I giggled a little. Partly curious as to why he liked this field so much. We'd watched the stars out here, we've even made love out here under the stars.

"I own it." He smiled cutely and I just stared at him.

"You own it? The whole field?" I questioned.

"Yeah. Like I said... your Aunt and Uncle were important people here. My parents were friends with them, my parents moved back to where they came from and I stayed here. Your Aunt and Uncle looked after me, made sure to be there for me if I needed anything. My parents left me the field, well, they left it to your Aunt to hold onto until I proved to be responsible enough. And then your Aunt handed it to me when I was 19. She said I was plenty old enough and even though I was so young, I had the maturity of a 30 year old." Jungkook laughed, making me laugh as he spoke about my Auntie.

"So, you just, let the wheat grow?" I asked him, wondering why he hasn't done anything with this large field.

"I was going to.... Every year it dies and regrows. I clean out the dead wheat.. but I don't know. There's something charming about having a golden field behind the Golden Field B&B. Kind of makes it seem connected." He said as he entwined our fingers together, our hands on the table as we began to eat.

"Well, whatever you choose. I do like how you set this little place up." I said, commenting on the fact that even though it was cold, he still set up this cute outdoor eating spot for us. Once we finished the food, we cleaned up and took the rest of our bottle of wine inside.
It was still strange to not have Tae staying here, and to have this place to ourselves. We cuddled in the living room as the fireplace burned bright from the logs JK had brought in this morning. It was comfortable, this life.

"Where do you see us in the next 5 years?" I asked him as I sipped my wine, snuggling closer to him as I watched the flames dance in the fireplace.

"Hmmm.. Married maybe? Maybe kids? I wouldn't mind adorable mini versions of us running around." He cheesed as he chuckled a bit.

"You want to marry me?" I asked, trying my best not to dwell too much on the comment, but failing.

"I think I just might. You make me want to be a better person, you're funny and smart, you know when to be serious and when to let loose and have fun. You're beautiful, you're caring and you like taking care of others. You wouldn't have come here and re-opened this B&B unless you were a caring person like that." He kissed the top of my head and sighed. "Oh, and you love to cook and bake, and that is one thing that made me fall hard for you. I love to eat, so it makes sense that I fall for a sexy cook and baker." He grins, making me giggle.

"So I'm only sexy when I'm making food?" I questioned, teasingly.

"Nope. You're sexy when you're covered in my love bites as well. And when you wear my shirts.... Just my shirts." He growled as he attacked my lips and neck, leaving kisses in a playfully rough manner. He was tickling my sides, making me laugh as he flipped me onto my back before lifting me up and carrying me to our bedroom.
Nothing could be more perfect than the image he laid out for our future. I wanted those same things, to be married to him, to maybe have a child or at least be working on one... for now though, practice will do.
Jungkook laid me down and stripped me and himself of the pajamas we'd changed into. He covered my body with sweet soft kisses. His hands caressed every part of me while his tongue worked hard to bring me to my first orgasm for the night. Only when I was as slick as he wanted me, did he plunge into me with slow steady thrusts.

The world could have fallen down around me and I wouldn't have cared, hell I don't think I'd have noticed. One thing only came to mind after my fifth mind blowing orgasm that night- Re-opening the golden fields was the best decision of my life.

For once in a very long time, I was happy, really happy.
