Avoidance

It had been about 3 days since Leo had kissed you and he had been avoiding you sense. It was around breakfast time when you were leaving your cabin. You were heading down to the dining pavilion when you saw Leo.
"Leo!" You screamed. He looked at you and ran away. Why was he avoiding you? Was he really that embarrassed by the kiss? No, there had to be more of an explanation. You knew leo was the romantic kind so why would he be running away from you.
Leo's POV
He was hiding his emotions. He knew he liked you, but he didn't want to hurt you. Every time he saw you he was in awe on how beautiful you were but then he thought about his mother. He didn't want the same thing to happen to Y/N. The only reason why leo has been avoiding Y/N after the kiss was because before the kiss he thought he could hide his emotions, but now since he clearly can't he has to avoid her at all cost, to keep her safe. He hid behind a tree to hide from Y/N , but this time Y/N wasn't giving up so fast.
"Valdelz!" Y/N shouted. He tried to run but Y/N had a bow and arrow and shot his shirt to the tree.
"Why are you avoiding me?" Y/N asked.
"I don't want to hurt you." Leo confessed, not wanting to lie. Y/N's eyes turned from anger to confusion.
"Hurt me?" Y/N asked. " Wait this isn't about your mother is it?" Leo stared at the ground hoping Y/N would give up.
" Valdelz, if this is about your mother, don't worry I'll be fine." Y/N said in a calm and soothing voice.
" I know but I care for you, I-i love you Y/N and I don't want you to-" Leo was cut of by Y/N pulling Leo into a kiss.
"Leo, I'll he fine. You avoiding hurts me mire than anything." Leo's frown turned into a grateful smile, which he hasn't worn in days.
"Y/N?" Leo asked.
"Yeah?" Y/N replied.
"I love you."
