( Piper's POV)
Percy stayed by my side the whole rest of the day. Hid mom came home and seemed kind of nervous. After I met Mrs. Ugliano(why is percy's last name Jackson?) Percy walked me home. I had so many questions. Why was his mom so nervous when she saw me on the couch? Why is his last name Jackson? And most important, how has he not begun to judge me yet?
It's only a matter of time before he finds out. Then, bye bye Percy (shoutout to whoever guesses the reference). Every friend I've ever had found out and now they treat me like an outsider.
"So I was thinking, you could come over to my place for dinner next Wednesday. My stepfather will be on a business trip so you can come over then, if you want." Percy said, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah. That would be great. Thanks for walking me home, Percy."
I looked into his green eyes and went inside.
