(Piper's POV)
I ran away from Drew and Percy. Percy just stood there, listening to Drew. I thought he cared about me. I ran to the one place where I felt safe. The swim hall. I just wanted to end it all. Nobody here loves me. The last thing I remember is doing a front flip in to the pool and a sharp pain. Then darkness.
"I love you. Come back to me." No, that can't be him. Why would he love me?
I opened my eyes and saw Percy with tears running down his face. He saved me. He saw me looking at me and broke down again, hugging me close.
"Why Piper? Why did you do it? I love you, Piper. Please don't ever do this to me again. Please."
"But how can you love me? I'm so ugly. I'm not popular like Drew or brave like Rachel. I'm just an ugly slutty whore! You should have just left me there to die!" I tried to stand up but he stopped me. He looked at me and I saw in his eyes a look I only saw in my mother's eyes. Love. He grabbed my face and kissed me.
