As Sephina made her way home after school, her mind brimming. She was astounded with herself. She couldn't stop thinking about Gino, and hated herself for it. She hated him for it. And it was tearing her apart.
The next week passed by in a blur. Sephina tried her best to ignore Gino, but she just couldn't. She kept noticing things about him, his easy laugh, the small lateral movements he made, and no matter how much she denied it to herself, Sephina was beginning to feel something for Gino.
Sephina was split between two sides, one who despised Gino, and one who loved him. And she knew which side was winning.
Eventually, it became too hard to continue denying her feelings. Sephina resolved to tell him... what? What could she say, that somehow she had become infatuated with him, despite how much she hated him. So during lunch, once she built up the courage, she found him lounging on the couch, his eyes fixed on his computer screen. Sephina sat herself down next to Gino. But before she could start, her attention was directed at the show he was watching.
"You watch Haikyu too???"
"Yeah it's a pretty pog show." Gino replied, still looking at his screen.
"Do you want to... watch it together?" Sephina asked.
"Sure!"
They watched Haikyu together for the rest of lunch, and by the end of the period, they were in each others arms, not even paying attention to the show anymore.
