Episode 2: The Snow Fairies
Star
(Taps Marco and whispers)
Marco. Marco! Wake up.
Marco
(Groans)
Ennn.
Star
(Whispers)
Marco! Get up! I know how to fix everything.
Distoria
This should wake him up.
Distoria plays people screaming.
Marco
(Ready to fight)
I'm up! I'm up! Is everyone okay?
Star
We're fine Marco.
Distoria turns off people screaming and they all flinch as a bomb hits near there shelter.
Star
Now come on. I know how to get magic back.
Distoria
The Chancellor knows. Kinda but you're just collecting the ingredients.
Star
Same difference. Now come on Marco!
Marco
(Excited)
Alright!
Marco gets up and Star and look at the top of the bomb shelter.
Marco
So we'll have to climb up there. We can use that ladder.
Marco sets the ladder down and climbs it. Star climbs the opposite end.
Marco
Help me turn this.
Marco and Star turn it and hear a click.
Marco
I'll go first. Then you go.
Star
Marco-
Marco
(Interruptes)
I'm going Star.
Marco pushes himself up and touches the ground. Star hoists herself up and falls on Marco.
Marco
Ow.
Star
Sorry.
Star gets off Marco.
Marco
Look around.
Star and Marco look around at the reddish-orange sky, bomb shells and wood lying around and sirens going off everywhere.
Star
(Horrified)
I did all this?
Marco
(Sad)
Yeah. Sorry.
Star
I...I...I'm going to fix it. I swear.
Marco
(Smiles)
I know. Now come on. We have to find the snow fairy.
Star
Careful of the active minefield.
Marco
(Smirks and walks towards it)
I'll be fine.
Star grabs his arm and leads him away.
Star
Be Adventurous Marco later. Now, Distoria how do you find a snow fairy?
Distoria
Turn left.
Star
Of course we have to go around the active minefield.
Star and Marco barely make it over and Distoria leads them to the Snow Isle.
Star
What's this?
Star picks up a photo and a letter.
Marco
That looks like a snow fairy.
Star
We love and miss you. Your loyal subjects. I...what happened to them?
Distoria
Fairies are made of magic.
Star
So all of them...
Marco
So how do we get the snow then? If there isn't any?
Distoria
When a snow fairy dies they turn into snow. But I guess all the snow melted. The Queen was known for hiding some pure lasting snow though.
Marco
So we need to find that.
Marco starts looking around.
Distoria
But her snow was made out of magic so...
Star
So it's gone too? This is impossible!
Star sighs then smiles.
Star
Wait! All magic isn't gone. When I was talking to Ponyhead she was flying and flying is magic. If all magic was gone then she wouldn't be flying. Can I talk to the Chancellor?
Distoria
(Smiles)
I'll tell him.
Distoria disappears.
Marco
So I was right?
Star
Sort of.
Distoria
I'm back. The Chancellor said "that's strange" and asks for some of Ponyhead's hair. And whatever comes out when she flies. If anything comes out.
Marco
A lot of hot air does.
Star
Her sparkles!
Distoria
Or you could ask her how she still has magic.
Marco
We're better off talking to a brick wall about stars.
Star
True.
Distoria
But since all magic didn't disappear...
Star
I'll look in the remains of the trees!
Marco gets numerous splinters and Star gets a couple burn marks from there search.
Star
I found it!
Star picks up a tiny jar of snow.
Star
Marco?
Marco
One item down.
Distoria
Fabulous! Now every fairy has a witch so there should be a witch nearby.
