so zenitsu is the god of lighting he makes the thunderstorms for humans but since alot of humans dont like thunderstorms he has become the most hated god, so while zenitsu was oeaking three the clouds he heard tanjiro speak about how much he liked the thunder god and how he felt bad for him and the hate he gets daily, this moved zenitsu so he wanted to go meet tanjiro himself so he asked shinobu
and the rest of the story his how zenitsu just doesnt notice tanjiros real feelings for the god ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
