I woke up to my alarm clock blaring 21 guns by Green Day. I sat up, and pressed the off button, as I pulled myself out off the comfort of my bed. The cold hit me lie a brick. I shivered, and grabbed my clothes that I set out last night, and went to the restroom.

I took a quick shower, got dressed, and then started on my makeup. I hate most makeup, so I only use concealer, mascara, and eyeliner. When I was happy with my makeup, hair, and outfit I went to the kitchen, and graabbed a banana.

"Don't forget your medicine." My mom reminded.

        "Yeah, yeah." I mummbled.

I got a glass of water, and swaallowed two pills. One for ADHD, and the other for my depression. I looked at the clock. 6:50 fourty five minutes till school starts.

"Bye mom." I called, as I grabbed my skateboard, and headed out the door.

"Meg!" someone shouted from behind me.

I turned around to see Eli skateboarding towards me.

        "Hi Eli." I greeted.

"Hey, you wanna come with me to get my friends Liam, and Lauren?" He asked.

        "Why not?" I agreed.

We started walking down the street, stopping infront of a small, but beautiful house. Two figures came out the front door. One was the guy that was with Eli at the park the first day I moved here, and the other must be his sister.

"Skater girl! Nice to actually meet you, I'm Liam, and this is my annoying twin sister Lauren." He said, pointing to the girl.

"I wouldn't say something like that about your sister. What if that was the last thing you ever said to her?" I asked harshley, imediately regretting it. "I'm sorry, that was rude. My name is Megan, or Meg for short."
Lauren smiled at me, and we started walking. After a couple minutes we walked up to the school. It was much bigger than the school in Oklaoma.

We walked inside of the building, and I could feel people staring at me. Usually Max, and Jack would be next to me, assuring me that everything would be okay, but I would have to figure this one out by myself.

"What's your locker number?" Eli asked.

        "235." I told him.

"That's right next to Laurens, I have to go to my locker, but Laur will show you around." He stated.

I nodded, and he ran off. I opened my locker, and put my backpack in, grabbing a notebook, and a pencil.

"What's your first class?" Lauren asked, smiling.

        "English with Miss Stewart."

"That's great, me too. This way!" She laughed, as I followed her.

We got to class, and both sat in the middle row. The bell rang, and a thrirty year old woman with dyed, dark grey hair, and a diomand stud in her nose walked in.

"Hello, I'm Miss Stewart. I like to think I am a fun teacher, but today we will be doing actual work." She said to the class. "This first couple weeks we are going to be learning about news articles, and how to write them. Today I have brought an article about a car crash in Oklahoma."

I wanted to scream. Maybe it's a different car accident. I told myself. Lots of car accidents happen, what is the chance that it will be Jack, and Max's? But when the article is given to me, I saw a picture of my brothers.
