Staring out the window in a daze, Aizawa's conversation looped in Izuku's head.

"Take a few days off, you seem like you need it. After what happened with the attack that day and Bakugo...I'm not surprised that you're shaken up."

"Once you're back, I expect more from you. Being a hero, you cant slack off like you have, it isn't like you at all. If you dont plan on fixing yourself soon, don't bother continuing the hero course"

He rubbed his face, changing into his pajamas for the night. The two days went by so quick...and now he was sprawled out in bed without a care in the world. His mind simple traveled again, leaning in to curiosity.

A villain attack. Something big must've happened before hand. Hero course...To "fix himself or don't bother coming back" was complicated. What was there to fix? Who was this other Midoriya and how could he possibly act like him?

Questions unanswered;Midoriya never expected a response. So instead, he shut his eyes and prepared for the upcoming days. They'll find out eventually...

Thump. Thump.

Footsteps patrolled the hallways, searching desperately in each and every room. Every minute that past - every second - the shoes hitting the floor grew louder and louder and louder. With a racing heart beating so quick, Midoriya was sure whoever-whatever  he was hiding from would hear it. With a hand clasped over his mouth, he could feel his shaky breath with every quick exhale. It wasn't long until the loud footsteps came up to his room door. Then... silence.

A dark shadow casted through the crack of the door. Heavy, threatening breaths from the other side. Midoriya couldn't look away. His buldging eyes locked onto the door handle as he cowered in the corner. Then, a voice very much like his own whisped through the suffocating air, "Run. Run and don't look back. They know, and they wont stop until they find you".

It was a warning, but Midoriya was in so much fear he couldn't speak back. He didn't understand. There was a loud bang. The shadows fist slamming onto the door. Over and over and over... With every hit, Izuku flinched. "I know you hear me! RUN!! YOU NEED TO GO BACK! GO BACK!!" They screamed.

Thrashing in bed, Midoriya felt lock. Held down by the weight of hands. He let out some whimpers, eyes completely shut as he tried to shove the force away.  Alarms blared loudly, the room seeming to spin wildly.

"Izuku! It's ok! Wake up honey- please-!" To the voice, Izuku's eyes shot right open.

He gasped, filling his lungs with air as beads of sweat trickled down his forehead.
A familiar set of green eyes casted down on him, filled with concern.

"Are you ok?" Inko's grip on her son lightened as she backed away, allowing the teenager to sit up righ.

Izuku tossed his covers aside, peering down at his shaken hands. He was ok...he was home! The room wasn't spinning, the alarms weren't as loud. They were more quiet now. Being awoken in fear caused Midoriya's mind to exaggerate.

Looking up, he realized he never responded to Inko. She stood there, her eyes glued onto him. "Yeah..I'm fine, just a nightmare...How long was I out for?" He asked, relaxing.

"A few hours, you went to bed pretty late" she smiled, uncertain, "Are you sure you're ok?"

Izuku nodded, "Yeah" he gave her a reassuring smile.

With that, Inko left Izuku be. He looked around. It was his room. His normal room with the dog bed and band posters...good. Unable to handle it, Izuku's thought wandered to his dream. It really was a dream, wasn't it? He laughed a bit to himself in embarrassment. The dream had him so convinced that it was real!

With a relieved sigh, Izuku changed and hurried downstairs for breakfast. Then, off to school he went. He was happy to be back into reality.  Learning on an environment he knew, with people he knew. And, after a long day of school, Izuku found himself in the front of the scool yard, chatting to one of his friends about his crazy dream.

"Yeah, and then it turned into a whole nightmare, it was pretty weird" Uzuku held onto the straps if his black bag.

"Sounds stupid" Shinso turned his head away, uninterested in Izuku's dream.

Midoriya simply smiled, knowing how Shinso could be sometimes. The purple haired guy eyed Izuku from the corner of his eye. He had a puzzled expression, although Izuku was too busy searching for his mom's car to notice. Spotting the small, green punch buggie, Izuku waved bye to Shinso and strut off.

Straight to his moms car, he clambered in, stretching out in the backseat.

"Have a good day at school?" She asked - as she did every day.

"Yeah!" He beamed.

She let out a small hum and drove off. As Inko did so, Izuku peered out the window, zooming into his own little  world. All he knew was that his mother spoke of something about the store. So he persumed they were going to the store.

And so, they did.

It was cold. The store was always cold  for some reason, despite most of the food being freshly cooked and wrapped. They were set neatly in rows, heat escaping into the cool air. Rubbing his bumpy arms, Izuku looked through the aisles, searching for the bread his mom asked for.

He looked up on the top shelf, furrowing. Of course they put it on the top shelf. He reached out to grab it, struggling a bit due to his height. Sure, he wasn't the shortest person alive -but he wasn't the tallest.

Shadow casted over him, arm reaching out and grabbing a loaf of bagged bread. Midoriya watched as it was dragged away, twisting his head to see who the arm belonged to. His eyes widened. It was that peppermint guy, except there was a small difference to him. No scar. It didn't make a difference to Midoriya. Same jawline and expression, same. Maybe those people in his dream were ones around the neighborhood he never chose to examine in details.

Izuku smiled, "Thank-"

The teenager turned and walked away with the loaf. Not even a glance at Izuku. Dropping down flat on his feet, Izuku frowned. Oh. He wasn't helping him...ha...Asshole.

"There we go! Everything's nicely put away. Thank you Izuku" Inko smiled, giving her son a gentle embrace.

Izuku embraced his mom back before heading up to his room. He was tired. Too tired. It wasn't normal for him bit he thought nothing of it. So, he got ready for bed and slipped under the covers.

Not seconds later - the teenager was fast asleep. He didn't see the light of his lamp flicker, the soft gust of wind in his room, or the way his dog  hopped onto the bed, huddling close to him. He didn't hear the voice calling out his name, reaching for him. He didn't sense a single thing.
