2- when parallels meet

"Meoww "C/n mewls, loud and irritated as Y/n had him hidden uncomfortably in her arms, beneath her black coat, made from the finest of silks and fabrics.

The two were walking around town, nervously peering around for anybody friendly.

"Shhh! C/n you're being too loud, people will think I'm strange walking around talking to myself!" she whispered in a hushed voice, opening her arms just slightly to look down at her cat.

Unfortunately, Y/n lived alone, lonely, which meant no matter the situation, she had no idea how to control her voice properly the way others easily can.

Many stared at her, concerned and afraid as her hood remained up, making her a suspicious figure amongst the regulars around town.

Speaking of.. just a few blocks away from Y/n, the eldest prince, Viktor, once again was asking the same poor people of Y/n and her characteristics.

And again they will deny any knowledge of such a person with 'galactic filled e/c eyes with h/c hair'

Viktor sighed, walking off slowly as he listened to the married couple converse in a not so secret conversation of how helpless he was.

'He's been looking for that mystery of a girl for years now.. when will he ever learn! I mean for all we know it could've been a dream! Or she could be.. you know.. dead?'

Viktor walked away as fast as his leg could allow him, his mind in a rush of worry and fear as he denied any upcoming thoughts of what he had just heard.

If it was all a dream, his old cane would not be existant! And theres no way she could be dead, right..? She was just from out of town.. maybe in the neighbouring kingdom...

He continued to ask around, instead questioning those he hadn't just so he wouldn't have to hear anymore complaints for his actions.

In place of those he's bothered for years, were maidens he calculated to be around her age.

This soon turned out to be a mistake; he realied rather quickly, as instead of answeing his own questions.. the 'fair' maidens seemed to ignore him and ask him their own.. boundary crossing queries he did not find necessary to answer.

Viktor uttered as a few more young women snuck to his side and surrounded him, disturbed and uncomfortable as he tried to find a way out of the trouble he seemed to get himself into.

"Viktor!" his brothers voice called from behind and suddenly all his worries went away.

"If you would exuse me ladies, I am quite busy at the moment" He sighed out in relief, finally being able to breathe properly as he pushed his way out of the crowd formed around him to meet with his brother.

Viktor hurried off in the direction of Jayce as he'd given his younger, non-blood related relative a grateful smile.

"Now just what girl is so extrordinary to you that you willfully went out to go ask the town all about her and if they've seen her?" Jayce sighed out with a teasing grin and wrapped an arm around Viktors shoulders.

Viktor made a face, sheepish yet playful as he went along with the taller boys antics.

"Well.. you see around the time I first got here.. when your family had taken me in... I had  wandered off into the forest not knowing any of the rumours just yet..." Viktor hesitated to continue, watching Jayce listen with great interest upon hearing of the forest.

"I had taken a fall and my cane at the time was a step away from being in half if I had used it any further, so I was looking for a way out, yes?"
