Upon arrival at the pizzeria, I noticed the way it radiated the energy of an Italy-themed restaurant.  Even some of the waiters looked Italian.

"Table for two please," my date said moments after our entrance.

A worker escorted us to the table we would be eating at tonight.  Rory and I sat down.  We sat in awkward silence for a moment neither of us knowing what to say to the other.

To ease the awkwardness I asked: "do you wanna split a pizza?"

"Yes!  We could put like every topping they have on it!"  He eagerly grabbed his menu.  Taking a few moments to flip through it quickly he found what he was looking for.  With a big smile on his face, he showed me what he found.

Rory found a section on his menu that said "THE ALL IN ONE PIZZA!!!", which honestly I've never heard of.  It had like any topping possible, it looked disgustingly beautiful.

"Can we get that one?"  He asked while giving me his best pleading look.

"Sure."  I was definitely going to have a really bad stomach ache after this date, but it was totally worth it.

Rory gave me a dopey smile and let out a "YESSS!".  The table next to us shushed him, which caused me to let out a little laugh.

"Let's play twenty-one questions since I feel like I don't know a lot about you," I said.

"Okay."

"I'll go first."  I took moment to think about my question before asking: "what's your favorite band?"

"Single Tear," he responded.

"What?  No way!  That's my favorite band too!"  I didn't expect us to like the same band at all; most people found the band to be too self-absorbed.

"Wait really?"  Rory gave me an exciting look.

"Yeah!"  We got shushed by the neighboring table again.

A waiter walked up to Rory and I's table; he took our order.  I got water to drink; Rory and I were going to split the all-in-one pizza.

"My turn.  What is your favorite movie?"

"The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.  It just came out recently, but I really like it.  Of course, I like the book better-well, the books are always better compared to the movies, right?  Anyway, I really like that movie."  I smiled shyly, avoiding eye contact.  I felt like I gave too many words in that answer.

The conversation continued to flow like this up until the pizza arrived. It was just dead silent as we ate; Rory devoured that pizza like it was the last meal he'd ever have the privilege of eating.  That boy could really eat.  Having a small stomach I couldn't eat nearly as much or as quick as he did.  Before I knew it the food was gone and the waiter handed us the check.

"I'll pay for it," I said.

"Nope, I am.  Haven't you seen any movie ever?  The guy always pays for the girl."  He said it like he couldn't believe I had thought I could get away with paying for it; like it was some sort of crime to think I could.

I rolled my eyes but let him pay for it.  I was broke as it is.

We left the restaurant and he declared that he was going to walk me home.  When we arrived at my doorstep I stopped before the door and looked up at him.

"I had a nice time Rory,"  I looked up to meet his eyes.

He smiled widely before looking at the ground, appearing to become shy.  I took a step forward to press a lingering kiss on his cheek, causing all sorts of surprised and joyous emotions to cross his face.

He reciprocated my action making an even deeper blush shade my already red face.

"So this means I get a second date right?"  I enjoyed the hopeful look he sent my way.

"Yeah, it does."  I looked down at the ground sheepishly.

"Sweet!"
