BAM!
An extreme force hits my stomach.
The force, a red dodgeball, ricochets off of me, the pain causing me to land on my knees. I then soon collapse on my side on the wooden gym floor, writhing in pain. Pieces of my ginger hair fall over my eyes. It seems like the whole gym went silent, just for that godawful moment.
I hear a few giggles coming from the bleachers to my left.
As I groan, I hear footsteps coming closer to my scrunched up body. I turn my head to see a shadow looming over me. It was a short, blonde haired boy. I get a better look, realizing that it's him.
It was Gus. He was laughing at me, mocking, deriding me, ridiculing me. I look at him, furious.
