One of the most haunted bridges in Oklahoma, Boggy Creek Bridge, started to spook visitors and travelers from as far as 1924. This state has spooky tales, and this wonderfully haunted bridge in Oklahoma is no exception. In Catoosa, there's an old bridge no longer in use that holds that tale of a young mother and baby lost. This bridge is one of the many "crybaby bridges" reported in the state. Many visitors to these bridges report babies crying, and apparitions of mothers. There are crybaby bridges reported all over the country. Let me tell you what I have heard,

It's in June, on Friday the 13th. The year is 1924, and the mother is driving in a horse and buggy. Lightning struck near the mother and baby and frightened the horses, who tossed the passengers out of the carriage. The mother got out of the carriage and searched the bridge in the driving rain. She could hear her baby crying, but couldn't find her child. She leaned over the side of the bridge, lost her footing, and fell into the waters below. Neither she nor her baby was ever seen again. Legend states that if you visit this bridge on Friday the 13th, you can hear the baby crying. Whether or not you believe in ghost stories, this bridge can give off spooky vibes.
