Chapter 5

Danielle's POV

Apparently his parents sent the message early hours of this morning. I'm freaking out right now,cos where did he go ?, why did he go?, I mean I knew something was up but I didn't think it was so serious that he would run away from home , besides we were supposed to meet today to have a talk why couldn't he just wait ????, 

UGHHHHHH all these thoughts are just swimming round my head and I literally can't think straight, I feel my phone go off in my pocket so I check it and it's from jayjay   

"Do you have any clue where jayjay could be?" The text reads and I assume it's  from one of his parents but to be sure I decide to ask

"Firstly who is this pls?" I ask getting an instant reply

"Jayjay's mom pls just answer the question my brain is about to explode" 

"Sorry I really can't think of a place where jayjay could be now cos I'm really in shock and can't think straight but imma try to calm down and think of something reasonable quickly I promise you aunt Tina " I reply

I continuously take deep breaths to calm down so I can try to figure something out and then I remember a time when jayjay pranked me that he was dead , it sounds stupid but it was well executed cos he even got nurses and doctors involved it was so crazy cos I fell so hard for it. 

 I'm sure he spent a lot of money on it but it was crazy and I was so angry with him afterwards cos how dare he trick me like that and then I suddenly start to think this is a prank , ugghh I can't believe I almost fell for it I mean this has jayjay written all over it but he could have thought of something else like something more believable, this is such a badly executed prank , I thought he would have learnt his lesson after I didn't talk to him for over a month last time but probably not I guess 

"What if he is actually missing " says my subconscious making me immediately start to worry if it's actually true , I hate it when she does this , making me overthink is not the best  and now I don't know what to believe so I just conclude that if by tomorrow he is still missing or claims to be then I'll look for him whether it's a prank or not but God help him  I find out it's a prank , he's going to regret it to put it plainly

After all this I realize that I have been standing in front of my school pacing back and forth , goshhhh I'm extra extra extra late , I pray I don't get caught but to be prepared I just start thinking of lies to tell Ms. James if I get caught 

As I walk into school I get to my locker safely but on my way to class our one and only Ms. James just happens to be walking back to her office
"You're late" Ms. James says
"Yes Ma'am and I apologize for that"
"I'll let you go because your mom actually called to tell the school that she delayed you a little bit although I didn't think you'd be this late but get to class immediately you've missed a lot"
"Thank you " I say rushing to my class and as I'm about to open the door I hear the bell that indicates that it's lunchtime. Wow , am I that late ??, weldone Danielle is all I can tell my self as I walk back to the dining hall for lunch

The rest of my day was boring and stressful as always and when I got home mom wasn't around and dad called to say he was coming but he would come late so I shouldn't wait for him so I ended just disturbing Carla until I was ready to sleep , I go to sleep remembering that if I do t hear from jayjay I would look for him then it clicks that it's a bit strange that I haven't gotten any texts from his mom or who ever was texting me and if it was jayjay he for sure would have been like " so not even going to looking for me?" Or leave me a nasty note on how I don't care about him , so I just go to sleep with the intention of looking for him tomorrow and I hope it goes well.
