As I wake, I walk to the kitchen and start making myself breakfast. I grab the note Harry wrote that’s taped to the cabinet

Be home around 4. Call me if you need anything. :)

I smile and make myself scrambled eggs, spotting something lying on the floor. Harry’s wallet lies on the ground and I pick it up, deciding to give it to him at school.

Once I shower and dress myself, I drive to the school he teaches at and walk in. I sign in and they tell me where to go, my head nodding as I thank them.

When I come upon his room, he’s sitting on a stool and laughing as they talk about their summers. The class is having fun and I knock on the door, Harry’s eyes diverting to me.

“Hi Brandi. Class, this is Brandi,” he says, my hand waving to them.

“I found this on the floor this morning,” I say, handing him the wallet.

“Oh God. Thanks. I thought I was missing something this morning,” he says, my head nodding.

“No worries. I’ll see you at home,” I say, his head nodding. I walk out of the room and out of the school, driving around town. I stop at an art studio and walk in, looking at the rustic building.

“Hi, are you here for the assistant job?” a spunky redhead asks, my eyes looking at her.

“N-No, but I’d happily try for it,” I say, her lips curving.

“Cool, do you have pictures?” I nod and grab my sketchbook from my bag.

“Wow, you are good. How about you start by washing brushes then I’ll have you come into the studio?” she says, and I nod. I set my bag down and begin cleaning brushes then going to the studio. I’m shown around and I accept their offer once they ask me questions about technique.

“Great you can start tomorrow. We’ll need you here at ten,” they say, my head nodding. After I thank her, I walk out of the studio and drive home. I put my bag on the counter and walk outside, sitting on the chair and drawing for a while.

I hear the door open and I look up, Harry smiling at me.

“I got a job,” I say, his lips kissing my forehead.

“Where?”

“The studio down the street. I’m an assistant,” I say, his body sitting across from me on the footrest.

“That’s good. My class didn’t stop talking about you,” he says, his hands pulling my feet on his lap.

“Why’s that?”

“The girls asked about our relationship and the guys were curious as to how I’m dating a pretty girl,” he says, my lips releasing a laugh.

“I was slightly offended,” he laughs, my hand covering my mouth as I laugh.

“So was the first day all about getting to know each other?” I ask, his head nodding.

“I’m taking you out tonight. We need a date,” he says, my eyes admiring his curls.

“Sounds good,” I say, poking his dimple.

He laughs and leans towards me, my hand cupping his cheek as he presses a kiss to my cheek. When he stands up, I grab his hand quickly and pull him to me. I grab his cheek and press my lips to his, his body leaning down and his hand grabs my waist. He’s so gentle and careful with me and I know that I’m safe with him.

When I pull away, I smile and he kisses my cheek, walking into the house. I finish sketching and I walk in soon after, the sight of a shirtless Harry making me smile. He’s on the phone and walking into the bedroom, my feet following after him. As soon as the phone call ends, my fingers grab his waist and he quickly turns. I grin and he smiles, wrapping his arms around my shoulders. He leans his head down and places a soft kiss to my lips.
