"Now, now, don't you cry, sweetheart," River sneered, "You have no idea how long I waited for this day. It took me years to finally track you down. It took years to catch you, and here," they said, "you finally are. Aren't you happy with our little reunion?"
River ticked on the glass. "No answer? No beautiful sad song? Pay attention to me!"
Ellysia turned around. The sadness in her eyes and the fear she felt turned into rage.
"I grieve for the child you once was, the child you killed and buried deep inside. What would they think of this? What would they say when they look at your drawings? When they know your plans?
I saw innocence that day, I saw curiosity and kindness. You're now corrupted by greed. You're corrupted by your hunger for fame. I pray to the Goddess that you will realize that what you plan on doing will only cause you unhappiness."River stared blankly at the raging mermaid making big arm movements.
"I don't understand a thing of what you're saying. You must be using ultrasonic sound to communicate. There go the mermaids can sing- legends."
They took a paper out of their pocket and scratched on it with a pencil.
"No singing mermaid-performances," River sighed as they glanced up. "She does have one epic body, though, I shall teach her how to dance and playback. That will do it in Las Vegas."
They scratched the back of their head. "I'm hungry. I'm gonna eat your little fish friends. See you later, Ariel."
River vanished through the door.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhh!" Ellysia punched the glass caging her. "I hate you."
