adding a psd without polarr

i opened the polarr app on my phone after a LOT of months to make a cover for this book & got so shocked when i saw that almost every feature could be accessed only if you paid for their premium subscription, except if you wanted to add your existing saved filters. even to save a picture that you've edited on that app, you need watch an ad. and you can't add new filters either! so i've decided to make a tut on how to add psds to anything using photopea (our lord and saviour fr). it's really easy, and i recommend doing this on a laptop/computer rather than on your phone because it's not hard per say, but it can take some time to wrap your head around the tools.

step one. — open photopea.com and click on 'open from computer' & select the file you want to add. (TIP: if you haven't cropped your picture yet, to get the perfect size, you can click on 'new project' and play around with the sizing until it's the one you like)

hope this was helpful! i will never not be salty over polarr turning into a (almost) fully paid app. so glad photopea exists <3

this was my first actual tutorial, because the ones you've been seeing all along were my old ones which were there when i unpublished this book almost an year (?) ago.  i just republished them because i had no will whatsoever to make new ones and i also might've could've may have forgotten how to make graphics because it's been WAYY too long.

fun fact (bored, might delete later): i had a breakdown when i was trying to make the cover for sucker punch because i wanted to make it look like the other covers i have but i just couldn't find the damn overlay with flowers at the bottom. i literally searched up every keyword, every corner of pinterest but i couldn't find it so i settled with this one. not really a fan of this cover but meh.
