Cole struggled to not fall of the boat. The six of them had been sailing for quite a while. None of the guy knew how to sail, so Pixal, Skylor, and Vania attempted to teach them, but Zane was the only one any good at it. Cole finally threw up over the side of the boat, and Vania came over, looking concerned. Cole said he was fine and Pixal, who had entered the conversation, decide he must have motion sickness. That was a new word to Cole, motion sickness. Shouldn't you get sick all the time then, since the body is always moving? Cole pondered on the idea, it's not nearly the first time Cole was introduced to a new concept, and it won't be the last time either. Cole was snapped out of his thoughts when the boat pulled into a large place with lot's of big boats, ships, Vania called them. "It's a port," Vania said, seemingly sensing his thoughts. Cole realized they must be in some kind of city, Vania told him about them so he knew what they were, large, compact areas where a lot of people lived. A man who had been waiting at the port reconized the girls, and seemed to know Cole and his brothers, because Cole noticed he gasped as soon as he saw them. Cole and the others followed the man, whose name was Hutchens, to the royal palace. Cole turned in every direction, trying to see as much as he could. When they entered the palace, everyone parted for them, which was weird for Cole and his brothers. Cole gasped in awe as they entered the throne room, and he could tell his brothers did too. Cole had never seen anything like this, the only place he had seen was the tower, but this? And that's when they saw the King, Queen and Prince, when they heard the dear princes had returned, they all came to wait eagerly. They began to sing a song, which all the boys knew.
Garmadon: Constant as the stars above
Always know that you are loved
Misako: And my love shining in you
Will help you make your dreams come true
All three: Will help your dreams come true
Zane: The lamb lies down and rests it's head
Cole: On it's mother's downy bed
Kai: Dolphin plays in the moonlight's glow
No one there sang the next line, as it belonged to a certain blue eyed boy, but high in a tower, an injured Jay sang.
Jay: And butterfly dreams of a violet rose
Dreams of a violet rose
Back in the palace, the reunited family continued singing their hearts out while everyone else watched.
Parents: I'll cradle you in my arms tonight
As sun embraces the moonlight
The clouds will carry us off tonight
Our dreams will run deep like the sea
Our dreams will run deep like the sea
Parents & Children: Constant as the stars above
Always know that you are loved
And my love shining in you
Will help you make your dreams come true
Will help your dreams come true
When the song ended, Cole, Zane, and Kai ran into their parents arms, tears filling their eyes. Cole buried himself in his mothers embrace like he was afraid she would dissapear if he let go for a second. He never believed he and his brothers had a family, that they were really loved by someone, and this gave him a lightness he had not had before. However, he was still really worried about Jay, who had stayed behind so they could escape. Once Garmadon, Misako, and Wu stopped hugging there kids, they realized how awefull they looked. Every one of them looked malnourished and dehidrated, with there ribs showing prominetely. All of them also had seemingly hundreds of scars that were not there before and and hastily bandaged wounds. There eyes were sunken, and they looked haunted and tired. Garmadon's face screamed murder for whoever would do this to his babies. And that's when they noticed someone was missing. "Where's Jay!?" Wu asked, getting increasingly frantic and not being the only one too either. The boys all looked at each other, seeming guilty. Kai started, "The girls found us in a high tower, that we couldn't escape because there was no door or stairs, only 1 small window. The people who captured us got up and down by forcing Jay to grow his hair super long and cursing it so he can't cut it and we can't cut it, which is why we never tried to escape before, we would have left Jay behind and we couldn't do that to our little brother. When the girls came, he made us go so we could get you and bring you there, but we couldn't leave him there alone, so Nya is there with him." Garmadon's expression darkened considerably. "Why were you stuck is a tower in the first place?!" Their father demanded. So the brothers, taking turns, explained about Harumi, and Lloyd, and the punishments, and that Harumi was doing this to break up the allience so they would marry her daughters, and being cut off from there elements their whole life, and Harumi using their own elements to torture them and cause them pain, and being told they had been abandoned and no one cared about them at all. Garmadon's expression darkened more and they set of for the dark island. Garmadon wasn't the only one angry, Wu looked murderous and Misako's poisonous expression would have made anyone afraid.
A badly injured Jay woke up, but was unable to stand properly, so Nya helped him around. Jay was not looking forward to Harumi's visit but when Nya tried to climb to the bottom, she wasn't let out of the tower. Jay and Nya were terrified of what might happen. Harumi and Lloyd called for Jay, who let down his hair trembling with fear. When Harumi saw Nya, though, she didn't yell at him. "So, you insist on disobeying me do you?" Lloyd snarked, "we just need you alive till your 15, we can still make you suffer. Jay tensed up when he saw what Harumi was holding, It was not a whip or any sort of torture device, but scissors. I'm sure you remember what happens when people even touch his hair. Lloyd held Nya back so she wouldn't interfere, and Harumi began to slowly cut Jay's hair. Jay couldn't even describe how it felt, it was so excruciating. Jay screamed until he fell unconcious from the pain. Jay was alive, but barely. Harumi layed Jay on one of the beds and them turned to Nya. Lloyd through the girl out the window, but she was unharmed using her water powers, she ran to the port to warn the others about this latest predicament.
