Yeah, yeah I'm late to updating my own book I know. I profusely apologize I've just- yeah I'm not going to give anymore excuses even if they are partially valid... kinda. Anyway this was just at the brim of 2000 words which isn't acceptable with how much I used to type. I'll improve and will see ya next week. Love ya<3

As soon as the blade came plunging down the young girl barged in, unable to keep herself from wanting to help. "H-Hey! Stop! WAIT." The blade fell, a small clank made by the metal hitting the ground echoing throughout the room. Green eyes wearily made their way towards the elven girl who simply put her hands on her hips and began to go on a yelling tangent about how it's not okay to hurt others. A grimace sat on the male's face for a short time before he came to a realization. "Wait... You're that Klee everyone speaks of around the kingdom- why are you in a castle of all places?!", He exclaimed out of frustration.

All of the yelling caused the resting male to slowly come to his consciousness, shifting uncomfortably in the chair. This went without notice due to the nonstop back and forth bickering Bennett and Klee were partaking in. Coming to a painful stance the prince quietly watched the two argue in slight disbelief. "-Because I belong here!", "-How?! You blow shit up constantly." A sigh left the prince's cracked lips, stumbling over to the two heated individuals while desperately placing pressure over a bandaged area on his lower abdomen. Razor gently placed a hand on the frustrated farmer's shoulder, "Klee..... just kid.", He explained with his wobbly smile. The blonde looked back to see an unforgettable sight that would haunt his mind for what felt like years to come. Even though the male was looking right at him it was obvious that his eyes were elsewhere, more so, adrift in a sea of pain and agony yet sheltered away by his half-lidded eyes all at once. If Bennett knew anything about the prince it was his lack of admission when something was wrong or paining him, rather he would smile or block out the world in its entirety to ignore it since he had been isolated from society time and time again. Apart from his eyes, his bottom lip was curled as he shuttered with gritted teeth. Loose strands of hair fell over his eyes as if they were trying to hide away his telling face of pain. Before Bennett had time to even process the sight any further he was met with the weight of a head on his shoulder followed by warm tears seeping through his shirt. This slightly unsettled him, his heart slightly tinging with jealously since it's not like Razor had ever openly worn his pain yet this little she devil gets threatened once, and suddenly the prince is ready to cry in front of someone other than himself.

Klee patiently stood there for a good five minutes out of courtesy of who she called big brother. Yet, nothing happened- not a single movement from the male while the other wept out of misery. The room was filled with sobs and the impatient tapping of Klee's boots. She quickly grew agitated and ran up to the two to snap them both out of it, for Razor to realize he was crying and for Bennett to snap out of his shocked state of jealousy and reminiscence. First slapping their asses since she couldn't reach any higher then going on a tangent about how immature they were around each other.  "...That's not even mentioning the fact that this bad guy tried killing you, Big Brother! But, you're now hugging him and being weak? Remember what Miss Jean taught you?", She called out to the disconnected prince who almost immediately snapped out of it from the mention of his mother. Once Razor processed her allegation he slowly gave his friend a questioning glance. Bennett in response simply smiled and shook his head, earning him a death glare from Klee. "Ugh! He's lying to you! He needs to leave- you have to believe me.", Klee pleaded to her peer. The prince walked back over to the chair where he sat down and gave her a promise that Bennett wasn't too fond of. "One minute... Then play with Klee, Razor promise." With a toothy grin, he looked back at her with a thumbs up. Klee quietly squealed under her breath in excitement before excusing herself to go wait in the hallway.

Bennett let out a sigh of relief as he was walking towards the prince's chair. He stood in front of the prince, ready to clarify what Klee thought she saw but was met by some irrefutable evidence, the handle of his handheld dagger now in the hand of the prince pointing towards him. "Bennett drop it, Razor pick up for you." The sudden guilt bubbling up in his stomach quickly subsided as soon as he saw that little smile playing along his chapped lips. 'If only he knew how right she was...', "Why uh... Thank you, your highness. I apologize for waking you up with our bickering but seriously that kid shouldn't be in the castle with her history of vandalism." He spat out bitterly but, again, was surprised by the prince for the second time in a row. Razor chuckled at the mere thought of Klee and her bombs, "Mhm... Mother chase her all time- and her mother when Razor still very small. They act like uh.... Pea pods? Lisa said so.", he awkwardly tried recollecting from memory even though he struggled with his broken grammar. The farmer gently accepted his blade back then knelt down and began using the said blade to cut away at the prince's bloody bandages. Bennett had some bitter taste in his mouth left by the happy aforementioned memories the prince had with other people, not to mention the very same people who were now ignoring him yet he still continued to cherish them. For whatever reason, it just pissed Bennett off so he chose to simply chuckle and nod along.
