Chapter 20

A/N: So I just want to quickly say. OMG YES I FINALLY HAVE 1K READS THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. Also sorry for not updating once you stop it's hard to start up again. Really sorry for not updating in a while seriously though.

I woke up with my hair all in my face. I could just feel all the knots in my hair. Back on earth I had curly hair so it wasn't a big deal. I guess I have to go brush it.

"Meh it's only like 1:30 I did go bed at 5:30 yesterday. My beds so comfy though I don't want to wake anyone up. Ok I have to stop making excuses and just go." I whispered to myself. I got up after fighting with myself for about 15 minutes.

"Where is the bathroom anyway. Oh yeah down the hall." It felt like forever it was only like a minute though. It took not that long to brush my hair about 20 minutes. I used the help of water and it helped a lot. I started going downstairs and I got to the top of the staircase when I heard something. It was a piano and the song was prelude no.1 in c major. I knew it because Sam played it all the time back on earth I also absolutely loved the song. I was too nervous to go down so I sat on the top of the steps. I could just listen to this song for decades it felt like forever even the song us only 2 minutes or so. There was a brief silence then I heard a voice.

"You can come down I know you're there." Said a voice that could only be Sams. I said nothing. "Come on you can't stay there forever!" I slowly stood up with my head down so all my hair was hiding my face. Then I started walking down slowly even though it wasn't really slow. "Oh, it's you I thought it was Lily. What are you doing up this early?"

"Well. I. Umm..." My voice was even quieter and I could feel my face going red.

"You really need to speak up I can't hear you. Why is your head down like that you should pick your head up so I can hear you better." I regretted it but I lifted my head up. "Your face us red again shure you're ok? You should sit down." So I walked over and sat on the other side of the couch from him. "So anyway why are you up this early?"

"Well, I-i d-did go t-to sleep at 5:30 ye-yesterday." God I'm really bad at speaking.

"You should probably get some rest you don't sound ok." I did what he said and went to sleep. Not really he sounds like he cares about me but I'm not sure if he does shouldn't put much thought into it. I heard him say something that sounded like "she looks cute asleep" but I was too tired to make sure and he kinda ruffled my hair. Like what you with dogs. Maybe he does care then I fell asleep.

"Wake up! Hey!" Sam yelled at me. I felt my face and it was wet with I guess tears. "You were crying what happened"?"

"I-I don't know." I told him. I really seriously don't know."I'm sorry for being a burden to you. With h-"

"Don't say that you are definitely not a burden I promise."

I smiled slightly "Thanks." I was really tired. Then I kinda fell asleep on his lap.

I heard chuckling but I didn't want to open my eyes. Mmm this couch is comfier than I remember. I heard someone who could only be Charlotte.

"Eeeeeee. I ship it!" She whisper yelled. I don't feel like getting up to hear what she's screaming about.

"Shut your face I'm trying to sleep. If you don't shut up you're dead." I mumbled.

"I still ship it!!!!!" She said between giggles. There were other people too but I'm not sure who yet. What is she even talking about.

"What are you even talking about."

"Why don't you open your eyes?" So I finally open my eyes and I'm on someone's lap. Oh wait I thought. I quickly sat up and I was on his lap. He was awake too and I went tomato red and slowly fell to the floor.

~Charlottes P.O.V~

I was laughing so hard that it hurt and I was rolling on the floor. Arabella just fainted she's way to easy. With me laughing was Lily, Celeste, Wolf(Vi is now Wolf your welcome I if you ever even get further in this), and Sadin. Syke was kinda just sitting there while Mabel was trying to care for Arabelle. After a while we were done laughing.

"Meh, being a ninja is hard. We have to go to team work right." I asked.

"I would believe so I know my team does." Lily responded.

"What's her problem. Is she okay?" Sam asked.

"You mean you don't know?" I said between laughs.

"No, I don't. I seriously don't."

"Well!!!! Shfyhfgcnbvcgf." I couldn't say the rest because Lily covered my mouth ugh!!!!!!

"Don't tell him yet let's wait for the right moment." She whispered to me.

~Arabelle's P.OV.~

I woke up to Mabel shaking me.

"Come on wake up Arabelle!" She said. She never really raises her voice. Ever.

"Ok ok I'm up I'm up!" I said laughing. Charlotte came over to me creepily.

"It's a good thing he caught you." She creepily while doing this laugh that scares me. Syke was trying to finish up Naruto not really saying anything. I also hid behind Mabel.

"Save me she's scarrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!" I said like I was a child.

She sighed. "Charlotte please stop." Mabel told Charlotte

"Nevuuuurrrrr" She declared triumphantly. Mabel just sighed again. I realized I haven't to Syke in a while, what if she was feeling left out? So I decided to go sit next to her.

"Hi! How are you I haven't talked to you in a while." I said happily.

"Huh." She said looking up. "Oh, sorry I was kinda lost in reading this. I'm fine I guess." She replied.

"Did you see what just happened!" Charlotte squealed.

"No I got very involved in this, kinda oblivious to the rest of the world."

"I do that a lot and then I yell in the middle of class." We all laughed at it because it was true. One time she was reading Percy Jackson in art class(no spoilers promise) something bad happened with Percy and Annabeth, so in the middle of class she literally yelled "NO!" She somehow didn't get in trouble though.

"We should probably get going to class now. It's getting late." I told everyone.

"That's true." Lily added "Celeste, Sam lets go." After she said that we ran to where we were supposed to meet.
