Chapter 10: A REALLY big sword

"Naruto it's good that are releasing the poison" Kakashi sensei was saying "but... anymore and... you'll die from lack of blood seriously." the funny thing is he said it with a smile on his face.

"Why is he smiling?" I said to Chiaki and Hotaru it was really hard not to laugh.

"No idea." Chiaki said back.

"No!! That's bad!!" Naruto yelled.

"Didn't notice Naruto!" Hotaru said sarcastically to him.

"I can't die from something like this!! Nooo!!! Save me sensei!!"

"Lend me your hand." Kakashi said to Naruto who was still flipping out.

"Naruto... are you masochist or something? What were you thinking!?" Sakura yelled at him.

"This is so much better when you're actually here." I said to Chiaki and Hotaru

"Umm... hey... am I going to be... ok?" Naruto asked.

"You only stabbed yourself with a kunai." Chiaki told him .

"You should be fine." Kakashi sensei said looking back at Chiaki.

"Sensei... I have to talk." Tazuna said to Kakashi sensei.

"Does he have to address him as sensei?" Hotaru asked Chiaki and me.

"What a thick mist, I can't see ahead." Naruto said.

"I'm bored!" Hotaru complained.

"Its to cramped I'm claustrophobic ya know!" I complained.

"We should see the bridge soon. The wave country is at the base of the bridge." The rower person told us.

"Ugh I'm gonna activate my Byakugan I wanna see how far away it is." I whined.

"It's coming up right now." Chiaki told us and the bridge came into sight.

"How did you know that?" Kakashi asked.

"I did."

"Ok?"

"Wow!! It's huge!!" Naruto yelled.

"Hey!" The rower yelled "Be quite! Why do you think we are hiding in this mist and not using the engine? We'll be in deep trouble if Gatou finds us." I almost started to laugh when Naruto slapped his hands over his mouth.

[Flashback]

"Sensei... I... want to talk to you. It's about this mission... you're right this job is most likely outside of your duties. It turns out that a super dangerous man is after my life." Tazuna said again addressing him as sensei for who knows what reason. Tazuna is way older than Kakahi for crying out loud!!!

"Who?" Kakashi asked.

"You've probably at least heard his name before. The wealthy shipping magnate... a man named Gatou."

"Huh?! Gatou...from that Gatou company? He's said to be one of the worlds few extremely wealthy people."

"Yes... officially he runs a large shipping company... but, secretly he sells drugs and other illegal items using ninjas and gang members to take over businesses and countries. He's a very nasty man."

"He also must be very selfish and not pay his workers anything to get all that money." I added

"It was about two years ago when he set his eyes on the wave country. Through money and violence, he quickly took control of the country's shipping industry. Gatou now has a monopoly on all buisness traffic in the country. The only thing he has to fear now is the completion of the bridge."

"I see... since you're building the bridge you're in the way." Sakura said.

"So... those ninja were hired by Gatou?" Sasuke asked.

"Nnnoooooooooo Tazuna hired someone to assassinate him himself." Hotaru said sarcastically.

"But what I don't understand is... if you knw ninjas could be after you why did you hide the fact when you hired us?" Kakashi asked.

"The wave country is super poor." Tazuna started explaining "Even the feudal lord has no money. Of course we don't have much money either... not enough for the expensive B-rank mission. Well... if you quit the mission now I will definitely be killed."

"But..." Kakashi tried to start saying.

"Don't worry about it!! If I die my cute 10 year-old grandson will just cry for a few days!! Oh yeah, and my daughter will live a sad life hating leaf ninjas forever. But it won't be your fault. Not at all!!"

"Well, I guess we have no choice. We will protect you at least until you get back to your country."

[Back to present]

"We'll be there soon." The rower told us. "Tazuna... it looks like we've avoided detection so far, but just incase we'll the route that has vegetation it will make the enemies harder to spot us."

"Wow." Naruto said we finally got onto land.

"FINALLY!!!!!!" I yelled jumping off the boat.

"This is it for me. Goodbye and good luck." The rower told us.

"Yeah." Tazuna said. "Ok!! Get me home safely"

"Yes... yes" I replied.

We were walking and I was talking with Chiaki and Hotaru so I started singing a Perry Grip song.

"Do you like pancakes!"

"I like pancakes!" Chiaki said happily

"Do you like waffles!"

"No! I don't like waffles! They're just fake versions of pancakes with holes!" It made me and Hotaru laugh really hard and in the middle of us laughing Naruto screamed.

"There!!" Which made me shriek and fall down.

"Naruto!" I yelled Hotaru was rolling on the ground laughing at me.

"Heh... just a rat." Naruto said acting cool.

"Stop trying to act cool!!" Sakura yelled. "There was nothing there!!"

"Hey... please stop using shurikens... it's seriously dangerous." Kakashi told him.

"Hey midget!!" Tazuna yelled " Stop acting like a moron!!"

"Hey, I think I see a shadow!!" Naruto said looking around frantically.

"There!!" Naruto screamed I had just gotten up, and again I shrieked and fell down, which caused Hotaru to laugh harder.

"I said stop!!" Sakura screamed punching him.

"Somebody is after us I swear!" Naruto claimed.

"Yeah right!!"

"Poor bunny!!!!" I screamed running over.

"Naruto what have you done!!" Sakura screamed.

"Oh.. just a rabbit." Tazuna said.

"Everyone get down!!" Kakashi yelled and we all dropped down exept me since I was paralyzed with fear.

"Miharu!" Chiaki yelled "Almighty push!" And Zabuzas sword went flying I didn't notice I was crying till I opened my eyes. I collapsed on my knees and sat down sobbing when Chiaki and Hotaru ran over to me.

"Miharu are you ok?" Hotaru asked.

"What happened?" Chiaki asked and they both hugged me.

"I don't know I just froze." I said pausing in between to take breaths.

"Hurry and take her out of here!" Kakashi yelled at us. Hotaru followed Kakashi senseis orders, picked me up, and we raced out of there. I had just realized that there was a big cut on my arm and I quikly told Hotaru about it before blacking out. The last thing I saw was when I was looking over at the fight and seeing Zabuza come out.
