Evan

When the mystery man had disappeared from sight, Evan got up slowly to make his way into the bathroom. When he stood and the air hit his legs, he noticed that his clothes were changed. Staring at his bare feet, he noticed that not only were his pants gone, but his boxers too. Evan had a chill run down his back making him uneasy.

He knew the man would be back. He wondered what he meant by discipline. He wanted to go home so badly, but he needed to do what the man said. He was scared and not having adequate clothing only made his mind think of things he didn't want to think about. Evan made his way across the room slowly never leaving his back in the direction where the man disappeared. When he made it to the open doorway, he put his hand against the wall for a light switch. Feeling it he turned it on and looked into the small bathroom.

On the left was a small toilet. A hand sink sat to the left of the toilet and on the other wall was a small shower cubicle. There was nothing else in the room with the exception of a roll of toilet paper, and on the wall of the shower was a small plastic container filled with soap. Evan went into the shower and turned the water on. He hurried to wash himself while being mindful of the chain he was dragging along. He grabbed the one towel sitting in the floor beside the shower and dried himself quickly. There was another t shirt under the towel identical to the one he was wearing when he woke up.

He wasn't sure how long it had been since the man had left him to shower, so he hurried to turn the light off and head back to his mattress in the corner. He sat down and huddled himself into the corner and awaited the mans return.

He didn't have to wait long. It felt like just moments later the man was entering into the dim lighting.

"Good I'm glad you obeyed instructions. I'll bring you food in a bit. We will start your training soon. "

Not knowing what to say he stayed silent staring at the floor where his kidnappers feet stood. The man turned and left the room without saying. another word. Evan curled into a ball on the mat and wept. He was so scared and was wanting to go home so badly. He didn't know what the man was wanting with him, but he didn't have to think long before awful thoughts came to his mind. Bawling harder he pressed his fist into his mouth. He was terrified of the man and didn't want him returning too soon.

Evan stopped crying and after a short while he slowly sat up into a sitting position. The area around him wasn't lit very well, but Evan wondered if he could find anything in the room that could help him escape. He slid down onto the floor trying to not let the chain clink together too often. Using his hands he started feeling along the wall meeting the floor and letting his fingers feel around. Only feeling dirt and brick he tried not to dwell too long in one particular area. Hoping he could find something fast he wanted to work quickly before the man returned.

Evan felt around the entire room. Besides his thin mat on the floor there was nothing else in the room. He went back onto the mat and laid down with his head in his hands. He started thinking about being trapped here while loose tears dripped down his face. He didn't know what was going to happen, and he didn't want to find out.

Evan jerked awake not even realizing that he had fallen asleep. He wiped the sleep from his eyes and saw sitting on the floor beside his mat was a plate with a sandwich and a glass of water. Looking around he didn't see the man in the cellar with him. He looked at the water and the food. His first thought was that the man had put something in the food or water and he shouldn't touch them. Rational thought broker through though and he knew that if the man was going to kill him then he wouldn't have kidnapped him and let him shower.

Picking up the plate he realized it was a peanut butter sandwich. He sat the plate back down and pushed it away. He was deathly allergic to peanuts and didn't have an epipen on him. He drank the water slowly. His stomach was empty and had started growling when he saw the food.

Evan wished he could go to the bathroom. He sat on the mat with his back against the wall and waited. He didn't want to see the man again, but he didn't want to use the bathroom on himself either. He supposed he could go in the corner of the room if he had too.

He held the water glass in his hands and stared into the dark room.
