Evan stared at the man with his mouth wide open. The other man stood up and stormed over to Evan. Scrambling backwards Evan tried to get away from him. The man raised his hand in the air and backhanded Evan across the face. Crying out he put his hands up trying to deflect another attack.

"It is Master! The next punishment will be more severe. If you cannot speak correctly then I will remove your tongue. Then you will never speak. Understood!" The man screamed as he grabbed Evan by the hair and thrust his head back exposing his throat.

Staring into the dark eyes of his captor, he nodded his head as much as he could and replying with a gasping, "Yes Master".

"Good." He threw Evans head back and it bounced off the wall. Groaning he tried to right himself but instead fell face first into his pillow. The world was spinning. He could feel liquid dripping down the side of his face. "When I ask a question you answer. I will not tolerate any disobedience. Enjoy your cup of water. It is the last you will get for a while. "

The man turned away from his bed. His world was started to go dark as the dizziness got worse. Suddenly overcome with nausea he rolled to side. He tried breathing deep but could no longer open his eyes. He could hear movement behind him but it was too late. He was unconscious in seconds.

Waking up Evan noticed it was darker in the room. It must be nighttime outside. He rolled over to his side groaning at the pain in his head. His head had dried blood on the side and he could feel the pressure of a migraine. Not trying to sit up, he just laid there and looked around. The chair was gone. It was just him, the mattress, blanket and bucket again.

He was still sleepy and knew it wouldn't be long before he would pass back out. He thought back to the man who was with him. His "master". He didn't want to call the other man that, but after the hits he took the night before he couldn't deny that he thought the man would follow through. He would have to think carefully. He had to follow directions and instructions. He had to escape. He would be trapped down here forever or killed.

He didn't want to die. He wanted to live. He wanted to see everything he could. He would quit his job, leave his apartment and go buy a tent. He would travel and see the world. He didn't want to be kept as someones pet. Used and beaten. He had to play it smart.

He needed to rest to keep his strength up. He closed his eyes and settled down until rest took him under again.

Waking up Evan really had to go to the bathroom. He opened his eyes and slid up to a sitting position. His head was still aching and his neck was really tender. Not wanting to stress his neck more he stiffly stood. When he went to take a step he felt resistance. Looking down he noticed that the chain on his ankle was short. Very short. He couldn't take but a handful of steps before the chain was pulled tight. He could just barely reach the can for him to pee in.

He knew he was being punished. He did his business and sat down on his bed. He hoped by the time the man came tonight that he could say his apologies and get to use the big bathroom. His mind started racing thinking about what the man was going to do to him. His hands were shaking and he slipped them under his legs as he crawled into a ball on the mattress. His breaths coming at faster and shakier. He did not want to be beat. He did not want to be raped.

He knew that being trapped in here he would have to find a way out, fight his way out, or trick the man. He didn't know how much he could get over on him, but if he showed submission maybe he could be trusted. He kept staring into the dark room, thoughts racing.
