Today was a new start for me, I'm starting fresh, I'm not gonna spend all day crying anymore, that's over. I realized that wasn't me, I don't go around crying when I have a problem, i stand up and face it, and that's what I'm doing today. So I got up this morning and went to park to train and clear my head.

I've been training non stop this days, my dad is having me erased any Cobra Kai mentality that I have, and honestly is the best for now.

I was starting my morning run around the park when I feel someone besides me, I look and is some guy, he looks familiar, he is probably from school, I look that he's talking so I take my air pods off.

"I'm sorry you said something?" I said while still jogging

"Yeah I said hi" he said still running beside me

"Hi?" I said so confused

"You run really fast is impressive" he said so I stopped jogging

"Do you need something?" I said kinda frustrated

"Oh... I go to school with you, you probably know me I'm the captain of the soccer team" he said in a cocky way

"I don't but good to know" I said wanting to go back to my jogging

"I'm Chad by the way" he said trying to shake hands

"Obviously" I whispered to my self

"Said something?" He asked me

"No, nothing at all, I'm Davina" I said

"Yeah I know, everyone at school knows you" he said smiling

I got to say he was not bad looking, he was your typical all American boy, blonde hair, blue eyes, tall, future frat boy kinda guy, definitely not my type.

"So... there's gonna be this party tonight, I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?" He said to me

"Look.. Chad... you look like a nice guy, but I just broke up with my boyfriend, and I'm not really looking for anything right now so..." he didn't left me finish

"Yeah that's alright I get it, but I mean we could go as friends, you know not anything oficial, just two friends hanging out" he said again

So here's the plan I say yes to him, just so would leave me alone, tell him I see him there and then just ignore him. Good plan.

"Sure, why not" I said

"Awesome, I'll pick you up" he said and started jogging

"No no I'll see you there" I said quickly

"Nonsense I'll pick you up" And he got away.

Fuck my life.

Wait a minute, he doesn't know where I live. Perfect.

I was getting ready, I put on a graphic shirt, black leather short and a matching jacket, I did my makeup as always, natural with wing liner. I went down stairs to drive to Moon's house for the party when I saw my dad talking with someone in the door.

"Who are you talking to dad?" I asked him making my way to the door "What are you doing here?"

It was fucking Chad in the door

"I didn't now you were friends with Chad, his dad works with me in the dealership" dad said with a big smile

"Yeah my dad give me your address I hope that's ok" Chad said to my dad

"Of course he's one of my closest friends, and hey, I'm glad you guys are hanging out" dad said while giving me a wink

"We should head out" I said with literally no expression on my face
